You were overwritten and overacted.

sheldon probably pressed refresh on this forum over and over until he finally saw dave post, then started giggling to himself as he posted that reply.

I'm never getting another reliever that comes from that stupid Cheesecake organization!!!
Another former Cheesesteaker out for the season!!! This guy was in AAA, but still.

It was a good effort and I was waiting for the wave of arguments. Didn't happen...DRiccio21 wrote:fair enough.shel311 wrote:Yea, that post felt too perfect and well done.Cnasty wrote:You were overwritten and overacted.

I have that but will be using my cell phone's data plan to run my iPad to remote link to the desktop cpu . . . I tested it before I sent this email and it was NOT going to work. And the place I am going is in the middle of nowhere, so the likeliness that I will even have service is slim to none. I will just bite the bullet and hit you guys up when I get back.brwnbear wrote:You can install remote software that will allow you to access your computer via the web.RanDawg wrote:Houston is struggling . . . big time . . . and to make things worse I am going out of town today and won't be back until Sunday evening. Is there a way to make updates to my team when I will only have access to the website and not the actually OOTP game itself? Or am I just screwed til I get back?
PEACE!!!

Re: 2018 Regular Season
I wasn't insinuating he was cheating, it was an honest question. I'm curious as to why be gets them all--six straight that I've gone after, in fact. Is it because his payroll is so low, or because he has a strong minor league system to start w, or because of staff members or past performance? Or because of getting his file in before me? I'm just curious because like reign said, its tough to build a minor league system when every young guy w potential says he's insulted I would offer him a minor league deal, and then he signs a minor league deal w LOLcats.

S14: N Texas 7-1
S15: Wake 8-5
S16-21: Washington 9-4, 10-3, 8-5, 9-4, 7-6, 6-7
S22: Ohio 8-5
S23: ECU 12-2
S24-26: Kentucky 8-5, 5-7, 5-7
Career: 102-61

its because some guys would rather play in the minors for a good team than the majors for Louisville. For now, those are the factsjsence2 wrote:I wasn't insinuating he was cheating, it was an honest question. I'm curious as to why be gets them all--six straight that I've gone after, in fact. He's not cheating. Gabe wouldn't do that. I'm just curious as to how these guys make their decisions.DRiccio21 wrote:i'm feeling froggy today so:
YOU MOTHERFUCKING PUSSIES... if you think someone is cheating, say 'hey.... i think something is up and i think X is cheating.'
if you wanna keep making vague comments and insinutating that people aren't being sincere about a pointless video game then you should go drown yourself in a toilet. its fucking petty bullshit
stop making excuses or blaming others when shit doesn't go your way. if you were accusing me of cheating when i was helping run the league i'd just kick your fucking ass out of the league.

Re: 2018 Regular Season
From the manual.
Factors Affecting Player Contract Decisions
Money talks, and the configuration of your contract offer has the biggest impact on whether or not a player will accept a contract offer. However, above and beyond the contract terms, players are affected by a number of factors when considering a contract, including:
•the distance of the franchise from the player's hometown
•the level of the league (good players might not be interested in playing in a low-level league)
•your team's reputation
•your manager reputation
•your team's recent performance
•the likelihood of playing time
•the player's morale (especially with contract extensions)
•the player's personality

Sweet. I'm out of town so I'm glad you were able to pull that out of there. I figured there had to be some sort of prestige aspect to it.brwnbear wrote:From the manual.

On an unrelated note, anyone that has issues with their file/downloads, it's gotta be internet. I've never had any issues at home, and the 2 times I've had issues have been because I was out of town and downloading on crap wifi. I'm gonna have to miss the friday sim, but should be back in the game for Sunday.

Re: 2018 Regular Season
On a related note to the rostering questions, I am in the process of weeding out my huge minor league system. After reading the player progression to many players can slow development so Ive released tons of low talent and aging players. Have at it!

Can't you just override this by replacing them on the depth chart for the minor league team?
