South Catholic is advanced and awaiting the MAC championship against Bowling Green. They closed out their 10-2 season with perhaps the rarest of wins possible, by a safety in overtime, in college football. After the Rebels stopped Central Michigan on CMU's first OT drive, the Chippewas picked off the Rebels, however, the cornerback's momentum brought him into end zone where he was tackled for a safety.

After coach nasty's sabatacle, the seahawks kept on their winning ways with a 7 point win over rival FAU.

BCC is down to their 3rd string an who is a SS but he looked like Montana against the FAU D.

Mario miles finished the game going 19-24 for 284 4tds and 1 int.

This win gives the hawks a 10 win season.

We have advanced on to conference championship week. These teams are in action:

- South Catholic vs Bowling Green in the MAC Championship
- #14 Marley Institute vs #15 Maryland in the ACC Championship

Coach TFAN and the #4 Holy Rollers defeat the #2 Texas longhorns in a tight game. the Rollers jumped out to a 14-0 lead to see Texas storm back and take the lead before half. As time was winding down in the game ORU picks off a pass and runs it in for 6 to go up 2 scores. Texas would come back and put in a last minute TD and go for the onside kick, but the Rollers would recoved and hang on to a 4 point win.

ORU awaits the SEC Champ game results to see if they have a shot at the BCS title game.

I know Ole Miss was #1, Texas #2....can anyone confirm who was #3 for me? I think it was either a big10 or pac 10 team becasue I recall them not having a game to play this week. Hopefully beating #2 catapaults me if Ole miss wins.

I was the last one to have to play and I'm done. Marley Institute beats Maryland 28-13 behind the return of my star running back who ran for 197 yards and 4 touchdowns.

South Catholic finally breaks the Top 25, getting #24 in the media's poll and garners the Motor City Bowl bid against unranked Minnesota. Both teams beat Wisconsin and both teams lost to Purdue this season.

As for accolades, Katibu Hatcher is named first team All-American at free safety.

Jarrod McMillan is All-MAC at halfback, and 3/4's of the secondary for All-MAC come from South. Sebby Ciarcia and Tarik Hall at corners along with Hatcher. Three more defensive players named to the second team (Pat Howe at DE, Rob Chuchro at DT, and Rocco Destefani at CB)

ORU is ready to go vs Ole Miss. The Rollers picked up a few accolades along the way to the tittle game.

Bowl game jitters for the Rebels as they lose the Motor City Bowl to the Gophers by a score of 33-28.

South Catholic turned the ball over twice in the first quarter, spotting Minnesota a 21-0 lead after one quarter. The Rebels battle back to cut the lead to 27-21 with less than two minutes to play and they have the ball. But Jarrod McMillan's second fumble of the game is returned for a TD. The Rebels get a hail mary TD on a batted ball with 10 seconds left and then recover the onside. But 2 last second hail marys are unsuccessful.

All in all, a terrible performance. 6 turnovers, including 4 fumbles. Quarterbacks combined to go 9-for-29, McMillan was held to 29 yards rushing. Just a wonder they were even to make it close.

Steel City won the fiesta bowl 27-14 over are rivals Utah. Game was one sided and not as close as are regular season game. I was hoping to play someone other than league opponent

Marley Institute hits a FG at the end of the game to beat Ohio State in the Orange Bowl. Ohio State was up 10-3 at half, Marley Institute pulls even then a 4 play drive early in the 4th put Ohio State up 17-10. On the ensuing drive the Marley WR gets hit right at the sideline and the ball pops out sitting right on the line before Ohio State picked it up at their 35. The very next play Ohio State throws a pass out to the flat and the strong safety laid out the fullback and the Burnin Wailers would recover. Ky-amani Marley hit the WR that fumbled the ball on a corner route at the front pilon of the endzone and it was a tie game again with just under 3 minutes to go. Ohio State would get to their 40 but a sack on 3rd down would force them to punt. The Burnin Wailers would drive down the field taking their time knowing all they would have to do is hit the FG. On a 1st down at the 20 the QB would kneel on it and let the clock drop down and with 3 seconds to go The Wailers would hit the FG and win the game.
