Hmmmmm, maybe it was later than and I thought that was the hard hit on the sidelines.
Look through the rest of the video, it has most of the big hits.

i'm trying but i dont see it.
i know i didnt imagine it, i rewound it like 3 times. it was either a run or a bubble screen and it was towards the top of the screen.
they don't show it on that video... i think it was the 2nd and 10 play

was it the one where cotchery went flying on his ass out of bounds and smashed his head off the ground?
exactly.
Polamalu comes flying from the middle and Cotchery seemingly has a nice hole then Troy crushes him and he lands out of bounds

That's one of the things about a great safety that's always blown me away. The way they materialize out of nowhere and just blast a guy. I remember when Bob Sanders, God rest his soul, used to do that for the Colts.

Mystery solved.
One of brees' teammates was just on SVP talking about Cutler and his injury....and divulged the fact that Brees suffered an MCL injury in week3. Brees didn't want it to become public and played through it. Wouldn't use it as an excuse even when people were questioning what was "wrong" with him.

all he said is an mcl injury jason not a tear......look ive torn my mcl its a four to six week injury and you can not plant and make the throws that need to be made.
I am actually glad he went out I hate when guys try and nut up and actually hurt the team more by trying to play hurt and be heroic.

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) Bears quarterback Jay Cutler has a sprained knee ligament and would have been questionable had Chicago made it to the Super Bowl.
That assessment came Monday from coach Lovie Smith. He says Cutler sprained one of his medial collateral ligaments in Sunday's 21-14 loss to Green Bay in the NFC Championship game

I didnt actually see it, but it's being reported that Evvans said Brees played with a tear, not injury.
Again, all speculation, but Brees played since week 13(i'm guessing since he said 6 weeks) on a torn MCL, but Cutler couldn't go 2 quarters in the NFC Championship game on an MCL sprain?
Yikes.

do you understand why it was a bad decision?
i'm confused as to whether you actually understand what i was talking about.
there really is no debate whether it was good or bad. it was terrible coaching

I hear ya Hart.
That's what I was saying yesterday. I know Cdub took my post out of context but he was just doing so to debate with me, lol.
Obviously, if guys have separated shoulders and broken legs or whatever, they're not gonna play but they can still be there watching. I get that, obviously.
But when I see Cutler walking on the sidelines knowing things like Rivers played the following week with a torn ACL, and now finding out Brees played 6 weeks with a torn MCL, and finding out Cutler didn't continue with a sprained MCL. Just doesn't sit right.
Maybe the coaches refused to put him back in partially from the injury and partially from him not playing well, but that's hard to believe considering just how awful Collins has been this year.

its obvious he quit too. like he was struggling, he had his out and he took it.
thats something an 11 year old does in a junior high... disgusting.

How Hanie played has zero to do with anything we're talking about.
