To start the year off in the most brutal fashion possible and to rally from 1-4 and now be 6-5 and bowl eligible. 80 out of 115 players are freshman or sophomores and most importantly I think Pruitt is the real deal. Just crazy to think the season turned in to a probably 7-5 season after those first two weeks
This season has been exhausting to be a fan.wdoupis wrote:The Canes are the first team in 40 seasons to lose 3 games in a season that they were 14 point favorites or higher
Can't wait to hear all the Vol fans chatter about "next season is the year"... again.GeorgesGoons wrote:wdoupis wrote:Man, what a turnaround by Pruitt and the Vols. Losing to FIU is really some shitCnasty wrote:This season has been exhausting to be a fan.wdoupis wrote:The Canes are the first team in 40 seasons to lose 3 games in a season that they were 14 point favorites or higher
It depends on what they are sayings its the year for. I think it should be another step forward and maybe we can win 8 or 9 games. Certainly not at the point where we are competing with Alabama and Georgia.Wasted Memory wrote:Can't wait to hear all the Vol fans chatter about "next season is the year"... again.GeorgesGoons wrote:wdoupis wrote:Man, what a turnaround by Pruitt and the Vols. Lol, now this is a terrible takecougnix wrote:Pac 12 can't seem to figure out how to be like the SEC. Have 4 unstoppable teams and the rest shit, instead everyone tries to be good and beats each other so we don't get the fucked up playoff berth. Oregon loses a game to ASU that record wise shouldn't happen but does because ASU isn't really that bad. I've watched my Cougs lose 3 games in which they had the lead in the 4th quarter with under 2 minutes to play. And then they go ahead and beat Oregon St with 2 seconds left to get bowl eligible. It's tough being sports fans...
I think the Buckeyes are the best team right now. But the best thing we get is that we'll see them prove it in the playoffs (if they don't fuck up the Wolverine and B1G Championship)Cnasty wrote:OSU leaps LSU in the #1 spot in the new rankings.
I don't care if LSU is #1 or #2, but there's a funny quote making the rounds from the committee head on one of the reasons why Ohio St jumped LSU this week:Cnasty wrote:OSU leaps LSU in the #1 spot in the new rankings.
"Ohio State now has 3 wins over teams we have ranked in our top 20"
Nah, LSU has Bama/UF/Auburn in the top 15 currently. OSU has Wisconsin/PSU/Cincy in the top 20.Cnasty wrote:Maybe they are referring to current vs when they were ranked weeks ago as I assume Texas is in your count who now has 5 losses and is unranked and Auburn who is outside the top 15 I assume by now?
Given that LSU already has the better wins and is still behind them, I don't see any way we can retake #1. Sure, we could add beating Georgia. But we already have more quality wins and the best quality win in Bama and are still not #1. Ohio St can add Michigan and Minnesota so that should be enough to keep them #1 based on the committee's past rankings.Cnasty wrote:1/2 does matter that someone is getting stuck vs Clemson which will be a rough 1st round matchup and would rather play anyone but Clemson first.
I think LSU would have to smoke Georgia to regain #1, or OSU squeaking by the next two gamesshel311 wrote:Nah, LSU has Bama/UF/Auburn in the top 15 currently.
