How do waivers work again?

Houston claimed two players this sim and I know I tried to get one of them. Wouldn't they have dropped in the waiver priority after claiming one?

In OOTP, I don't think the priority rankings ever change.

Ya, when you suck the previous year....u get all the good waiver wire players. And, no, waiver priority does not reset like it would in a fantasy league or something like that.

Best I can remember from the last time that this was semi-explained...


Order determined by last years record.
Order goes from worst to best.
The league that the waiving team is in gets first priority 1-14, then it goes to the opposite league 1-14
Waivers don't reset until the next year, and a claiming team never loses their priority for claiming someone

I believe that covers it as best as it has been covered.

Actually, I read something to where after X # of days into the new season the wavier priority resets to CURRENT standings.
