It's possible. I don't see it though. I really want to see Rousey in some trouble to see how she handles it. I think she will go to her base, judo, if she does get in trouble. But Cat is freaking strong! Not sure Rounda can toss her, who am I kidding she can. It should be a great fight. If Rousey runs thru her, who does she have left?!? Cyborg? Will she come down to 135? Will they catch weight at 140?

I'm interested in seeing Holly Holm. Really don't think that is a co-main event fight. Maybe a the last fight on the prelims. I'm not too stoked about the card as a whole, but these are the types of cards that tend to be good.

Arianny Celeste is reason alone to watch the UFC. The actual matches, meh.

Do I think she will, no. Would it shock me, no. She's a legit threat... maybe the 1st legit threat. I don't think any version of Tate that she's seen has been ready for her. Though I do think Tate is improving each time she goes out. (as are many other women fighters)

I just hope it's a legit fight. Last few times out Rousey have just run through her opponent, but I don't think she will be able to blitz Cat like that though.

Spoiler!
They really tried to talk Holm up, but I really wasn't very impressed. Granted it was her first UFC fight, but she didn't look like a potential title contender from what she showed tonight.

Was that amazingly good? Or amazingly bad? I've watched the replay 5 times and I have no clue which it was.

Amazingly good judo scramble and JJ to close it out... amazingly stupid game plan from Cat. Seriously... you want to rush into the clinch of a judo olympian? Good luck with that.

ReignOnU wrote: I was looking through the future fight cards last week... check out the Pettis-Dos Anjos card for UFC 185. The potential storylines on this card is incredible...

Pettis v. RDA - I'm a huge Pettis fan and RDA was talking some serious trash.

Esparza v. JJ - Yeah, not trying to spell that... but the newly crowned TUF champ gets an undefeated fighter for her first defense.

Overeem v. Nelson - Not really top of the division guys anymore... but should be a fun fight with a KO finish.

Hendricks v. Matt Brown - Should be a fast paced fight that puts 1 of them back on deck to avenge their loss to Lawler.

Stout v. Pearson - Again... these 2 will stand a throw, no question.

Cruickshank - The guys is never going to be considered an elite fighter and he's a bit of a goof... but his style is very fun to watch.

Sergio Pettis - Sky high potential and hopefully his last loss got him in the right mindset.

Henry Cejudo - 7-0 and 2008 Olympic Gold Medalist (Wrestling). He's starting to take his steps up in competition now.

Joseph Duffy - He signed about 2 weeks ago. He's 26yrs old, 12-1 record. What's so special about him? Not only has he beat Norman Parke, who is a legit prospect for the UFC, he also has 1 of the 2 blemishes on Conor McGregor's record. Duffy is a well rounded striker. He's not as flamboyant as McGregor, but incredible fundamental and solid.

That's a helluva lineup.

On a positive note... next up is the card that I've been waiting for. Still intact with 2 weeks to go. Hang in there everyone! :-)

I read about this Lewis-Potts fight on Sherdog earlier tonight... Potts in his corner saying "I'm finished" and his corner ships his ass back out. This dude was mentally broken by the power of the Black Beast (hysterical nickname) in the first. Painful to watch him take some of these shots in the 2nd before it ended.

Watching Invicta from Friday night while I am downloading my UFC fights. The co-main event was an outstanding fight. If you want to see the next big thing in women fighters check out Alexa Grasso. A Mexican fighter at 115lbs. The has amazing hands and stand up. What impressed me the most was how she would be 100% offensive when her opponent took here down. At one point she had an inverted triangle choke while working a kimora, bell rang before we could see if she could finish it.

She says she wants to be on the UFC Mexico card, I think Dana would be dumb not to sign this girl. She is only 20 years old and has a bright future.

The reason I downloaded it was because of Dana Whites comments after the Prelims about the fight. I think he might be sold on her as well.
