Partially torn labrum for the past 3 seasons, and some kind of knee surgery, something with the kneecap, can't quite recall exactly what.
But also, it was basically shutting him down to go into tank mode.

Smart, and smart.
No need to risk him. Get him healthy, and get a better pick.

Since Blake Griffin's injury:
- Chris Paul on the court - Clippers best offense in the NBA
- Chris Paul off the court - Clippers worst offense in the NBA

I find this story about DeAngelo Russell fascinating, he can not be that dumb right? I don't care how old you are.

It is pretty amazing.
I heard it compared to a story about Tony Parker fooling around with teammate Brent Barry's wife, causing them to divorce. It's crazy, I have no recollection of that. I'm sure I knew it happened, but don't remember it at all. It's amazing what being good and winning will do for a guy.

He's like 19 or 20 years old right?
Again, we all did some absurdly stupid things at that age. Granted this is really bad and I don't think I ever would have been that dumb... But I didn't have millions of dollars and access to celebs when I was 19.

Not only that, it doesn't seem to be as bad as it's made out to be. The story is that he recorded it to use it against Young, or that's how some are running with it.
Granted this is still stupid, but supposedly he recorded it as a prank, Young knew about it, they were still cool up until last week, when allegedly somneone hacked his phone or whatever and leaked it.

Yea I guess that is the interesting part is how did that get out?
I do always find it interesting here that the only person that often never gets hurt by these situations is the person doing something wrong all together a la Nick Young.
Also, if Dave still doesn't believe in CREAM take a look at Nick Young, that guy is ugly as fuck and still pulls decent looking women.

I don't totally disagree, but Young does have that irraational confidence that would probably help him with the ladies as well even if he wasn't rich.

Nick Young isn't an ugly guy though lol. He's not a super model but I'm sure with money+confidence he'll do fine. plus I'm sorry but Iggy Azalea is not attractive at all.

People hear what they choose to hear. I never once said money doesn't help some people get girls or that girls aren't attracted to money. I said you don't need to have money to get girls and that its not the most important factor.

Two part question... Is Ben Simmons really a generational talent as some are calling him and worthy of the #1 overall pick? Was LSU just that bad overall that even with him they couldn't make the tourney?

LSU's coach is pretty terrible, by all accounts. They also had some injuries.
He may not be quite the talent we thought at first, but he was something like 19/13/5, which hasn't been done in 30 or 40 years, so yea, he definitely has a skill set that we haven't seen too often coming out of college.

Gotcha, that makes more sense.
Ben Simmons is interesting to me because for a guy with such a huge skill set, in games I watched with him playing (probably 5 or 6 games) he doesn't shoot very well.
I watched them play at the beginning of the season and he seemed super into it on the floor and as the season went on he looked more and more disinterested. Tim Quarterman was a big disappointment as well.

Blakeney was also a disappointment.
Simmons really never even tried to shoot jumpers. But that's something you can learn over time in the NBA and become good enough at it.
