Fair enough...not enough clarity with all these giant quotes.

We've come to terms with our abilities (or lack thereof) in OCD. You on the other hand have blinders on regarding an aging team and lack of young controllable talent to replace them :)
Spoiler!
for the record, OCD has 10 60+ talents 26 and below by my scout or OSA so we are just average, but certainly not the black hole you think

Won't be just him... it's like 17 brought a new TV deal as everyone is flashing the cash :)
our contracts have always been insanely low, imo.

good to see that guys are asking for more now. well, not good for me since most of my guys are going to be getting to their first contracts soon, but in general its good.

Yep.

And let's hope Corey's correct and their asking prices don't magically come down at the start of preseason.

Agree completely and I have seen some of these guys on fringe arb or near FA really not accepting deals they would in the past. Great sign for the league again, not good for guys with little cash looking to lock up young talent long term.

Let me clarify if I didn't when I posted that. They did come down but it wasn't as dramatic as it was and very unrealistic in our last version. I would say guys asking for $25mil+ came down as low as $13-$15mil which I can live with going into spring training.

Again though, that doesn't mean it will hold true depending on how we are working the market as a group but I hope to see it hold true.

We've had better in the past, it's just that a lot of these guys we'd otherwise think we're pretty good are now all blue ratings on '17.

ya a lottt of my guys ratings changed. dont know if thats a good or bad thing. I know whatever they used to rate relievers took a nose dive (as it should).

Some of my guys went way up.

I'm assuming they're no different, ratings just are...but secretly hoping these new ratings are more accurate!

You're negative $100m and sitting on the north side of the tax line... I'd think next season is a stretch unless you pull some crazy cash trades.

Waiting to see how much they come crashing down when spring training begins.
