Nice ride.
Nice 6.0L V8 engine with 355 HP.
Gase Mileage sucks at 15 City/24 Highway, but you don't buy a car like this for it's MPG. :D

Enjoy it!

Got 21.9 Cleveland to Columbus, doing about 85 with the occasional "extra." 23.3 from Columbus to my driveway, averaging about 72 for that part of the trip. The engine is tuned from the factory to run best on 87 octane (actually out performs 89/93 on factory tune), which is odd. But I'm not arguing. My Jeep gets about 15.5 city and 18 highway. It's actually an upgrade for me, lol.

I just got rid of a supercharged Buick Regal a year ago and it got like 17 City and 24-25 Highway, so that is what I was used to.

And that is very odd that it runs better on 87 octane.
Most "high performance" engines require you to run "premium" fuel of 90 or higher octane.

Yeah, totally threw me when I was reading about it. I'm going to wait a bit before I start modding it. When the PCM gets tuned, then it can be adjusted to run on premium. I'll only do that if I can verify that there is enough performance gain from it to justify it.

Definitely fun to drive. It still baffles me that GM brought this car out and then shut down the Pontiac division. We'll see if they get it right when they launch the Chevy SS in a few months.

Well, it's still a 4 dr sedan, technically.

My big concern with it was her spinning it out on wet roads (she did this with my Jeep last year when she forget to turn on the 4wd and she had huge issues with my Dakota R/T, to the point that she wouldn't drive it. Thankfully, mother nature unleashed a monsoon on Cleveland when I was driving up there yesterday, so I got to test drive it in some pretty nasty conditions. I took it up 480, then found a huge corporate bank parking lot and put it to the test. With TCS on, I can't imagine that it's possible to 'accidently' do it. I was intentionally trying to fish tail it and it took a ton of work to even get 1 strong whip out of it.

It also helps that when we met, I was driving a Trans Am... so she loves Pontiacs. :-)

He's been trying to sell that car for like 2 years, right?

Not to mention its Johnny and he probably does donuts in the driveway and 110 on the highway consistently.

On a related note, about a month ago we bought a 2011 Ford Fusion SEL fully loaded and only 10k miles on the cheap (yay salvage title!). Damn is that thing nice. I drive an 09 Focus and she had an 02 Escort, so the new ride feels like a frickin' Caddy

First thing I do when I get in my car is turn that off and put it in sport mode. Unless it is raining or wet out that is. The TC also affects the torque management and shift points by your PCM. I don't turn it all the way off unless I'm at the track or just want to roast the tires off.

The Blizzack tires alone will keep you from doing a spinout by accident let alone with TC on.

I'm quoting you quoting yourself. Anyways, plastidipping is an alternative to painting your vehicle or parts of your car like the wheels or emblems. The best part is that it is removable. The stuff peels right off when you want it to. It also protects the original paint or finish. I wouldn't do my whole car but some people do. I've thought about doing my wheels. Probably won't though.
Did you ever do your wheels Oracle?

Thinking of doing the Charger wheels that glossy black they have and possibly the grille.

The wheels seem easy enough but the grille may be a pain in the ass.

The glossy looks pretty sweet.

That reminds me, I need to get some pics up here. I haven't started messing with the bolt-ons yet, because I haven't sold my Jeep. I finally got around to putting it on Auto Trader a few days ago. But I jacked the price up to see if a sucker comes along. Not in a rush right now.

Factory rims are one of the few cosmetic items I may change. I read that Enkei made the stock rims that are on it (unverified). Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the stocks. I want to go with a gun metal setup.. something like these:
