Same as me. I remember buying Pro Set like it was going out of style until I realized they printed approximately 17 trillion of the cards. I mainly collected hockey and football cards, though; not baseball.

Staying off-topic, would you guys have classified (or classify) yourself as a pack buyer or individual cards? I think I bought every Steve Avery and brian Taylor card in existence because I thought they'd be great and I'd be rich.

I'm still sporting a Jerry Rice rookie card.
One of the GOAT players, and yet all these cards come out nowadays and are instantly worth as much as my Rice card. And by nowadays, I mean 10 years ago when I would periodically check the value on those things.

I literally had 75 Greg Vaughn rookie cards because I thought he was the next big thing.

Packs. I've been to more than one baseball card show. (not in the last 20 years)
