sim the entire offseason over the weekend as far as im concerned. that shit sucks anyhow
Also, between Louisville, ohio and SHeltown....the Port Orange mini sale has been postponed as making the playoffs is all but a sure thing.
Might as well make a couple more runs at the title

you're welcome. I wasn't winning any titles with my current team, whats the point of having the highest payroll in the league if I can't even make an LCS in 3 consecutive years??

Crazy how making zero moves increases your chance at a division title. Nice hold off on those trades GM Alves

basically, the offseason is pointless to you and the regular season is pointless considering your division so you play this whole thing for a 1 night 4 hour sim session.
i like it.

Pretty easy with the entire AL undergoing a fire sale
(that should immerse us for a little while)

For whit?
I disagree. My firesale was rather obvious and the only real logical decision for me. But Whit has some stud SPs and some good hitters. He could have worked the trade lines, maybe free agency if he has some cash, and kept at it. If you're consistently winning 90+ and not old as dirt like my team, you have a shot.

Oh, and all that talk about realignment because all the good teams were in the AL, like I said every time, it's cyclical, Sheltown, Ohio, and possibly Louisville are all going to be on a decline in the short term, some(me) much sharper than the others.

Yeah, Steel City will be good next year. I expect much of the same from Chicago, SoCal, Albany and Detroit. Colorado or NorCal may bounce back. Las Vegas or Omaha or someone else could be good.

Just like every other team out there:
Barring any serious injuries with my squad I fully expect a 90+ win season and make a playoff appearance. Could be more if I am able to pick up a key piece in the FA market which allows me to trade away one of my Starters. But, I am expecting to go with the rotation I have since nobody allows great FA-to-be starters to walk.
I have a nice young rotation in Hernandez, Patton, Raines, Morris and Marquez with some up and coming hitters.
Watch out for Wayne Washington next year, .310/40/120 season isn't out of the question.
Going to resign Ortega to hold down the 2B position until one of my young kids matures. Saunders will hold down the SS position for years to come and if Serrano lives up to expectations the Beef could have one of the best infields in the PL Midwest. Outfield looks decent but is my weak spot right now. Youngsters Sherwood Drown and Lynwood Malone looks to anchor this outfield for the next 10 years.

I'm not fireselling at this point. I decided to move Hayden only, possibly McMinn; but I'm keeping Ruiz and the core of the team. I moved Hayden and got a very good OF prospect to go with the two studs I drafted this year (Miller and Kelly), and I have an OF who should fill a fair amount of the gap left by Hayden for the short term. However, I improved my pitching for this year and the years going forward, so it was a give/take.
