It's going to get ugly for sure. My number issue is people voting for Obama because he is black, just ridiculous as not voting for him because he is black. Sadly I've spoken to more than a few people who openly admit that is why they voted for him again.

Just another reason why his first four years was so tough because of racism. It is f'ing joke.

If Obama wins Florida, California, and Ohio, he wins.

Even if he loses Florida (which is so close there will probably be a recount), he is going to likely win Colorado and Minnesota and Arizona, which is one more vote than Florida so.....I think he's won it.

If it comes down to Ohio, what we saw in 2000 will look like a little friendly debate. Absentee ballots there don't get counted until after November 17th.

it is and has been for quite some time mathematically (almost) impossible for Romney to pull it off.

I know this is going to come of snobbish/stuck up/whatever... but it really disgusts me that non-productive members of society have vote.

its far more important that you work hard at your job/education, at your family and at your health if you want our country to be a better place than it is what party is in office

I firmly agree. If you do the right things in your life, the political party that's in office can be overcome. It doesn't mean that it's ok to have to succeed in spite of that government. At the simplest level, you shouldn't have the responsibility of electing officials if you don't have the accountability to contribute positively to the system.

we don't have to agree.

everyone deserves to have a vote. how qualified you are is relative. there are many things i'm not educated on and many things i'm sure you don't have a clue about as well that you're voting on. the vast majority of people don't have a clue about what makes the stock market go up or what makes the economy good/bad despite what we think we know.

for example, i think Obama is horrible (almost scary) for the economy and i think we're about to go on one of the best runs in the market in the past 25 years.

i would have felt that way whether obama or romney won even tho i think Romney is better for the economy and Obama is awful for it.

i thought US citizens living abroad were allowed to vote via absentee or something similar to that?
