If you read the current rule, the way it is wrote, it says option years, so everyone should have been assuming it was all option years.

With that said, I agree that it should say ALL, just to be clear and I like it on all option years.
Just makes it easier when negotiating contracts if it is uniform across the board.

While you're fixing things:

- Every option year(team/vesting) must include a buyout of at least 25% of that year's salary

You can't put a buy-out on a vesting option.

- Contracts are allowed to have 2 option years per contract

You can't put more than 2 option years on a contract anyway. The game doesn't allow it.

1 thing is that you sorta can now since they allow you to do the player opt out clause after any season.

We haven't really addressed that. But you can put a player opt out clause after year 2 then 2 more options at the end of a deal.

Not sure it needs to be addressed, just throwing it out there.

nope but he accepted that he's a reliever for the final few. Last yr in 24 innings he had a 2.5ish ERA so if I can get that from him outta the pen I cant complain. It's kinda depressing that I remember drafting him and now it's about 20 seasons later i miss some of our old digital dudes. wonder what theyre doing today? especially the ones who got shunned of the HoF

The big trades seemed to already happen. The normal back and forth on some guys getting into FA early, the others waiting for the annual sale.

Doesn't help that we're already past the new year, and we still haven't had one big name sign yet.

Guys just not willing to spend and/or players are being patient and waiting as the offers continue to grow.
