LSU has dominated teams and been playing some of the most impressive football I have ever seen. But I do not think Arkansas and Georgia should be wrote off like it is nothing. Tough games ahead no matter how you slice it IMO.

I sure do with good reason as they have appeared very invincible so far, no??
Like I said, if they happen to show some vulnerability and lose I'll admit I was wrong but defenses this good don't lose to many championships.

arkansas will be good, they have pretty high powered offense.

Like I said, since computer polls just came into play, you can't go very far back.
It doesn't fit your entire criteria, but 2003 Oklahoma is the closest you can get.
I may not have every last detail correct, but basically they were #1. They lost, #2 won, #3 won. OU fell to #3 in the human polls, but stayed #1 in the computer polls, and the difference was enough to keep them at #1 in the BCS despite losing, while LSU and USC won.
It wasn't a lost to the actual #3 team, but that's as close as you will get. And it does show that you can lose and stay ranked #1 due to the computer polls.

Arkansas is very good and will score some points but they won't win.
Oregon was very good and has a great offense, they didn't win.
Wvu is ok has a gret offense, they didn't win.
Until they are proven otherwise, give me the Lsu d vs anyone in the nation in a big game.

can arkansas pass? b/c so far they haven't played one good passing team. Oregon and WVU are spread option last i remember
the SEC seems to have really shitty QBs this year.

They pass very well. But against a similar defense in bama, I think Wilson was horrible so they have their work cut out for them.
Should be a good one.

Arkansas has the #1 passing offense and the #1 total offense in the SEC.
However, like Shel said, we had our worst passing game of the season against Bama. Only 209 yards passing that game. Really though our biggest problem against Bama was establishing the run. We were missing our top two running backs that game and our third string guy got destroyed by the Tide.
We are definitely running the ball a lot better now than we were then so our offense won't be as one dimensional as when we faced Bama.

Wvu had 463 yards pressing on us, but Smith did throw 65 times.
Also, wvu and Oregon have completely different offenses. Oregon is run first read option, while wvu is spread passing.
For example, wvu throws about 60% of ths time while Oregon runs probably almost 65% of the time.

Yep. Very, very sad news. He was great kid and will be missed.
Reports are that he died of natural causes. Rumor is that he woke up this morning, went to church, came home to take a nap and never woke up.
19 is way to young for a person to die.

Also, the BCS is out, and Oklahoma State is rather comfortably ahead of Arkansas in the computer polls, also helps my theory. If they beat OU, would a win over LSU even put Arkansas above the Pokes in the computer standings? Much less LSU and Bama. It seems like there's still a good chance they'd be far enough behind LSU in the computers that they couldn't make up the difference in the human polls.
Shit is getting interesting.

Also, in the interest of full disclosure, ESPN's BCS guru just said if LSU lost a close, his "best guess" would be Bama/Arky/LSU. In that case, Biffy would be right and I would be wrong as I believe I flatly said that LSU wouldn't be 3rd to him. But if anyone watched it, you could tel Edwards said it with no certainty at all, he literally said it was his "best guess". So it does show that my argument isn't that flawed and wild as Biffy suggests...ya bastard.
Also, Herbstreit says there is zero chance that Arkansas would be ranked ahead of Bama, so if that ends up being correct, Nick wouldn't get his $20 via paypal LOL. Not that Herbie is never wrong though.
