Fwiw I noticed if you select vesting option, there was no ability to enter a buyout amount. Not sure of the specifics of the contracts you're referencing

I've never entered a buyout for any contract I've ever given with options for as long as we have played this game. I am sure I am not the only one.

I can manually adjust them but I don't see going to that level as we haven't in the past.

I feel like we need a comprehensive review of the rules so we can streamline the rules.

Though I will say, it wouldn't really make sense to drop a rule like this which aims to keep contracts in line and realistic...while keeping in the coaches rule for the sake of realism and financials

Not trying to stir the pot, but I thought it was a rule set in stone.

Not saying it wasn't a rule but it was not one that was enforced regularly considering the regularity of it occurring. That can change when they come up but I cannot review every single contract that is agreed upon unless they are brought to light.

I am totally guilty and i honestly did not know about that rule at all as i always worried about the team option amount which was a big topic before, not the buyout one.

Not sure about a fine versus just going into the option and updating the buyout information which can be done for any of these? I am fine with either..no pun intended.

The options should definitely be edited to reflect the correct (25% of option year) value.

Fines are another story, but at the very least it should be fixed for any that we discover
