I'm just telling you the way you should do it. You will get a better more even coat if you can move the wheel or move around the wheel as you are spraying the stuff on. With plasti-dip you really don't have to worry about overspray but I still wouldn't want that stuff gumming up my brakes. It is your car. If you want to half-ass it that is your prerogative.

The floor jack is a good thing to own anyway and with it, it will take you all of 5 minutes to take off both front wheels or back wheels at the same time.

Take the few minutes and take the tires off the car.

For shits and giggles I messed around with it a bit this afternoon. I dipped the chrome grill on my Focus, as well as the chrome 'Focus" nameplate on the back. I was actually impressed with how easy it was, and its looks descent. I fucked up on the back when I was peeling off the excess around the letters and scuffed it in two spots, but it takes nothing to just redo it.

Yeah, I have no idea how to get pics up without going through FB. If you want to PM me your number I can send you a couple though.

Bought from Menards (not sure if thats a national chain or not), $5.xx/can. Just bought one can for a small grill/back nameplate and was plenty. I didnt see that they had any glossifier though

I checked Lowes.com and they said it was in store with glossifier so hope its correct.
