he was the VP for 8 yrs
Ronald Reagan was president for 8 years as well, but I don't think he was fit for office (if able to run) in the late 90's

I'd argue that's a reason he shouldn't be.

11:30a EST... all eyes on NY AG. Allegedly a big announcement regarding Deutsche Bank and Trump. No idea what would be required criminally to impede his presidency, but enough open questions during the last few months heading into the election would be a tough blow (see my note earlier about non-political stuff coming up).
NY AG is going to try to dissolve the NRA, based on numerous fraudulent issues while being listed as a non-profit. Solid plan. Shoot your shot.

Watching the Wallace and Axios interview and how trump handles any sort of push back is douche chill worthy. Call me cynical because I know it’s all an illusion but I like the appearance of humility and responsibility from leaders. Maybe even some every man sprinkled in there. IMO our president has zero of those things as strengths.
It's really quite amazing. He can't stay on topic or actually answer the question that was asked. No matter what it is, he spins it some other way and is on a whole other topic within seconds.
If I tried answering questions that way at work, I'd have a lot more free time for the boards and OOTP.

A Gallup poll shows that 81% of black Americans want their local police to maintain or increase presence in their towns.
Meaning, all those people you seeing throwing rocks in the streets and crying to defund the police, those are the vocal minority, most people don't want that. The media just allows them to have the loudest voice and that makes people incorrectly assume that's just what everybody thinks and wants.

And most of those people in the streets rioting are white people taking over the narrative from black people.

Police reform is whats needed. Abolishing police is the craziest thing I've ever heard! And I don't see how you de-fund police until its reformed....

Portland Mayor said a police station was attacked and tried to be lit on fire with people in it. WTF do these people think they are accomplishing with this behavior?

Agreed
The protesting turned into rioting that the media covers only the worst of the worst...the net result of that is the original point of this entire thing was completely lost and next thing you know, we're focusing on statues and canceling 1 random person here and there for saying 1 thing, and now no one is really talking about the original intent of all of this any more.
I do think it's funny how people say "defund the police" and folks reply very logically stating why would you get rid of the police entirely, and the original folks reply stating "That's not what defund the police" means. Technically, that's exactly what it means.

But here we are with Biden consistently saying stuff with racial undertones (won't call it blatant racism) and never getting cancelled

Letting a suspected rapist go free before trial due to COVID... what's the worst that could happen?
A Virginia rape suspect, who was released from jail because of concerns regarding the new coronavirus, went on to kill the woman who had accused him, according to police
