this is insane... entire parts of a major US city on lockdown to hunt 1 guy. I think this is unprecedented. Oh and yeah, the 5 star rating on GTA nailed it.

Another big story "going down" today:

They are brothers

Police going door to door currently

I hate when they end like this when the suspects die as it leaves so many open questions but no chance he comes out alive unless they somehow surprise him

They were officially terrorists the moment it was confirmed that the 2 explosions weren't accidents.

1 guy who is leaving behind IEDs that they've spent the night detonating, who still has automatic "long rifles", and who still likely has a bomb strapped to his chest. Absolutely unprecedented and warranted.

Shit gets real and our 2 NDL detectives were nowhere to be found.

They panicked when their photos hit the media. Turns out, the FBI has video of white hat planting the 2nd bomb, which is what made them sure of who did it.

My question is, if they were only trying to escape....why did they execute the MIT cop? Shot him in the head as he sat in his cruiser. Multiple times.

Had the video surveillance not busted them at the 7-11, they very well might have gotten away. It also didn't help that they let their hostage go.

So in all of the random pics that 4chan posted with guys circled, were any of them the 2 suspects?

Yes. Black hat is 26, white hat is 19. They came to the USA in 2002-03 with their parents.

They got into a firefight outside the home of Andrew Kitzenberg (@AKitz on Twitter; look him up and watch his videos/photos). They were shooting w the cops, when they lit another crockpot bomb and threw it about 20 yds. It created a smoke diversion, and older brother walked towards the cops, still firing. Younger brother got into the SUV, turned it around, and drove full speed into the cop cars and broke through. I think he was trying to do so to help the two of them get away, but in the smoke he must have hit his brother and run him over. When the police approached him (after having shot him multiple times), they discovered the IED and they backed off.

He was DOA at the hospital with "multiple injuries to the trunk", not all of which were gunshot wounds.

EDIT: Here's the video. The photo of the bullet hole in his wall is scary, esp when you find out his friend was sitting there just a few minutes before
