Surprising Mori signed so cheap to a non contender and Nieves demand just keeps dropping and is not getting signed. Two big time difference makers I'd think contenders would be all over.

agreed, if I had the cash Id be after a top FA. Instead my money is tied up with a drug user.
put an offer in on nieves, don't expect to get him but if i do it is then open season. I want to sign washington at least so that he can play the roughly 100 games for me to get above corey and get a crab hat for the hall.
also congrats to kelly on getting fox in the hall. Best RP we've had, will have his 2nd player in the hall as soon at Kline retires.

I thought I was gonna lose my 2nd 1sts in the signing and was fine with it. Only lost my 2nd rounder so even better. So long as I got 1.5 and 1.18 im not that stressed out.

Ted, what age do college kids come out? 19?
varies, usually 19 though.
you also only lose non-comp picks when signing guys so you can't lose sandwich picks or comp picks for missed signings last round.
