It's pretty amazing how many times they've led the league or finished top 2 or 3 in games missed due to injuries.
I was so excited for this season, all of it gone.
BUST!!!
Is it just the Pels or is it the city. The Saints have had some bad luck as well, most not self induced though

Not at all. He is injured. Now if he stays injury prone for his whole career and never live up to the hype, then yes I'd be right. But we have 5-10 years to see how that goes

Funny you mention the Saints. The Saints/Pels shared a medical staff in those years, a very shitty one at that.
That being said, this season we got the dude who led the Phoenix Suns medical staff and they've somehow had the rep as the best medical staff in the NBA...then that dude learned about Shel Luck

The Pels schedule is crazy front loaded with nationally televised games early in the season, then hardly any later in the season.
Oops!

4 nights away from Opening Night, playing the first game of the season for the entire NBA. 7 days away from a solid showdown against the Mavs, then the Rockets the very next night.
All ruined.

That sucks but I think from basketball pov it might not be worst thing in world. It allows the other new guys on the squad to kinda get their situations figured out with more shot attempts. Then he can slide back into lineup when he’s healthy. It’s not as if he was only guy on team who is developing so this be net/net could be ok if one wants to spin it that way.
I can’t wait til they are like 8-2 without him and then he comes back and the rotations and shot attempts get all fucked up and media starts absurd narratives

fixed... and whats more fascinating is this isn't even top 5 most ridiculous things MJ said and its borderline batshit crazy... yet people still think we should value his opinion (or anyones)

I'm not the old guy here. AJ is older, Pete is older, I believe JD is older
