All his narcissistic drama, all his bullshit in the offseason....he didn't DESERVE to go to the Super Bowl. I'm tired of his crap, been tired of it for years. He never changes, he just didn't get punished for some of his mistakes this season. He did tonight. All hes' gotta do is run, or get down....instead he thinks he can do ANYTHING and he costs his team a Super Bowl shot. I honestly find it to be hilariously poetic and a perfect end to his drama.

I'm with jsence here for a change. I don't agree with all that you said, but to an extent.

I don't understand the Favre love fest. Never have. I would be laughing my ass off so bad if this fucker didn't cost my favorite team. Any other team and I'd be enjoying every minute but he really just fucked us over with that interception. All I wanted was a chance, which he gave us but ruined it instead of letting Longwell attempt a field goal. If Longwell missed the FG chance he should of had, tough shit and tough season overall but I hate Favre a little less.
LMAO at viking fan      a true viking fan wouldnt hate because they have some sense on who got them here this season compared to last season.

how can you put the game on favre? the 6 fumbles cost them the game. the int was a big mistake but it was still a longshot at making a fg anyway.

Pretty funny video of the reaction on Bourbon Street.

I wish I had a balcony there tonight, to laugh and watch the madness ensue without having to be actually in all that mess. Oh, and seeing all the boobs wouldn't hurt either.

Tracy Porter and Courtney Roby! This might be the only time in history that more than one IU alum will be playing in the Super Bowl at the same time. Too bad they’re on the wrong team.

I just said he gave us a chance which I was fortunate for, but he choked it up not giving Longwell the FG chance and throwing a pick. You don't think I realize that? Regardless, he fucked up on that last 4th quarter play like I said and he deserves no love fest that he gets. I don't like Favre. End of story. Nothing to do with my fanhood.

Paging Tiki Barber.

Please report to Adrian Peterson's house for a summer full of teaching how not to fumble.

I will say though, I love how everyones like "favre should of ran and got the yards"

1. the dudes 40, how fast is he running before they swarm him? (he completes that pass and its 1000000% money fg)

2. the dudes being hit all fucking game. You think in his mind he wants to run that?

give me a break. It's not Favre's fault at all. It's the whole offense of Minnesota. I'd blame AP but 2 of his fumbles were recovered (one led to a TD)

Berrian and that HUGE fumble by Harvin was probably the bigger factors

Right but Favre is like a 30 year veteran and even rookies know you do not attempt to make that pass across your body across the field on a rollout.

ESPECIALLY in that game situation. Throw it away and attempt the 56 yard field goal, run three yards and slide, do anything but that.

I agree though, Farve played a hell of a game considering how smacked around he was. The rest of his team let them down and imploded with the errors and fumbles.

The illegal substitution penalty, that late in the game, in FG range??? Wow

Just errors all over the place from the Vikings and it cost them the game as they absolutely dominated the Saints in every aspect besides errors..especially in the second half.

Saints=Team of Destiny to come away with that win with how poorly they played by their standards from the rest of the season but they found a way to win and NOT make the mistakes the Vikings did.

Of course the entire game is not Favre's fault. But shit, he choked big time, in a very Shel-like manner.

There's simply no excuse for that play. You can point the finger at a bunch of other things, but on that 1 play, it was the epitome of a boneheaded decision, something he has done multiple times in big situations.

Yes but that is what you get with a player like Brett Favre, with some of the bonehead moves he makes, he makes brilliant plays as well. None of the fumbles yesterday were on him and if you don;t think after watching Favre yesterday that he isn't a mans man then your crazy.

Why,because he wears Wrangler's and makes stupid decisions at times??

A "man's man".

I dont think anyone was debating whether he is a "man's man" or not. :D

No because he got banged up at his age and is still one of the best QB's in the league, plays with a fucking chaw in his mouth all game, and most would have been out a few weeks with his injury, he came in and almost drove his team down for the win. Haters.

Im not hating on him at all actually if you read my statement above.

Im hating on his below rookie mistake of throwing that ball in that situation and your "man love" for him.

I mean I can't relate to the stage but I played that position and I have been in his spot late in the game rolling and seeing a guy open over the middle and throwing that pass and it being intercepted/almost intercepted. He was trying to make a play. When you throw that pass its the last thing you think about. (Throwing across the grain over the middle.)

And yes I do have man love for him 8-)

EDIT: That game was going to fucking OT unless he completes the pass anyway.

LOL. Exactly. Silly Pat. I have no idea what that part you quoted has anything to do with what I said.
