I dont get why the US is stressing out lol. Algeria sucks dick, England is gonna wreck them today, and then England is gonna probably (id say 80/20) beat Slovenia. Slovenia, isn't really that good of a team and I expect US to handle Algeria
England - 7
USA - 5
Slovenia - 4
Algeria - 1

Basically, the U.S. now has two points. Slovenia has four. England and Algeria play their second game tonight. They have one and zero respectively. The U.S. will have a final game against Algeria. Assuming England wins tonight and gets to four points. The U.S. will have to beat Algeria and hope Slovenia loses. If Slovenia ties England it will come down to the tiebreakers between the three. If Slovenia beats England, the U.S. is also through and England is out. It's that simple.
One thing I WILL say--with Germany's loss today, a second-place finish in the group would be beneficial for the USA, because the group winner with get the Germans in the Round of 16 if things hold.
England's win today is NOT a foregone conclusion--David "Calamity" James is in net. He may provide a funnier moment than Robert Green did

United States beats Algeria and England beats Slovenia, right?
We win by 2 or more and it doesn't matter what happens in the England-Slovenia game...
However, if England beats Slovenia, and we win, we're still in as well even if we only win by 1

Can someone make this very simple for me? LOL.
I don't want all the scenarios caues it's too confusing. But i'm gonna sit and watch the England-Algeria game in a bit.
What should I be cheering for? As in, what is the best scenario for the US?
Or rank the best scenarios, that would work too, lol.

And there's Gerrard's first dive of the match. One of the biggest divers in football. Fucking scouser cunt.

Bud you're Italian. The way Italians play you'd think there was water underneath them.

Yes, because all Italians do is dive, and all Italians dive.
Shut up already. Name the top five divers in the world--not a single one of them is Italian, or even plays IN Italy:
Ronaldo (Portugal)
Arjen Robben (Netherlands)
Gerrard (England)
Didier Drogba (Ivory Coast)
Robinho(Brazil)/Javier Mascherano (Argentina)--hard to pick between them
Hell, Gerrard is also a hypocrite, publicly saying he hates divers, blah blah...when he's pulled off some of the most outlandish ones you'll ever see.

What is better for us? A tie or an Algeria win?

i think the algeria win is better because a win would then put the US in regardless (if they can beat algeria,a nd who knows about that). an england/algeria tie opens up tiebreaker situations after the next match and takes destiny somewhat out of their hands, i believe.

None of this will matter if the US doesn't stop giving up goals in the pregame introductions.
