No pressure, I just think that this would be a great gauge to see where my team is. Especially since all 3 teams involved are fairly healthy. Of course once the injury bug hits all things are off the table.

take 2 of 3 from Detroit and Dillonvale.

San Antonio surprising 7-5 start. Winning 3 of the 4 series so far.

Ben Jones wins 2 this sim (63 & 70 game scores) after getting bombed opening sim. John Allen stays hot. Bullpen's top guys are shuttign guys down, lower guys skew the numbers a little.

Offense is leading the league in HR's. Cruz has 3 HR's in a platoon role so far. Higgy is producing. But offense has been smoke and mirrors. Don't expect it to last outside of the big 4. Everyone is striking out way too much.

Another youngster getting the call-up as Francisco Martinez will be called to play short for the slumping Herman Brewster.

Phoenix and Pittsburgh this sim.

Ruiz is craptastic right now. Luckily Paco is tearing it up to make up for it.

Vincent Kelly is on pace for 68 doubles and 68 steals....and if he hits 5 homers it'll be a miracle

Swept Steel City (thanks to an 8 run 8th inning in game 1 to win 13-11), and then dropped 2 of 3 to Cincy. Not a bad sim.

Alcoholics go 1-5 . . . 0-3 vs Windstorm and 1-2 vs NE.

Pitching did MUCH better this week:

Week 1 ER = 50
Week 2 ER = 21

Hitting did about the same as last week:

Week 1 R = 14
Week 2 R = 15

I knew going into this season that my hitting was going to struggle due to not having many (if any) big bats . . . and at the same time I knew my pitching would struggle due to their youth. I know we are only 2 weeks into the season, but sitting at 1-11 REALLY hurts . . . :( . . . granted 3 of the 4 teams we played thus far are playoff teams from last year . . . still hurts non-the-less.

1-5 sim, but the positive is 2 extra inning losses that were low scoring and a 9th inning 1 run loss that really could have gone either way. Just can't hit...

Somehow Pittsburgh is 7-5, with a 5-1 sim.

I was more pointing out his speed/gap and total lack of power.

He hit 8 doubles, 4 triples, and stole 15 bases in 30 games last year. 50/50 is a very real possibility.

Whenever I am in Stamford, I think how happy I am that I am in the same state as you but yet so far away.
