Tigers get 3 lefty pitchers... same return that Cincinnati got for Cueto. Among the 3 for Detroit.. Daniel Norris. That's a big "price" to pay.

hurts losing Norris but the thing I wonder about him is if he truly cares. His personality is that of a beacher who drives in an old volkswagon, didnt take the beginning of the season serious got demoted and struggled. It sucks cause I thought hed be elite, but Price IS elite and only 29.

But dont worry when we dont win it all that yr were gonna fire sale. :\

also "going all in" ?? We have tulo under team control, we have donaldson under teamc ontrol. we probably resign price.

we also have Stroman, Osuna, Sanchez, Reid-Foley, Pentecost and Pompey in the system.

#1 offense in the entire league by a big amount, adds Tulo, and now a #1 ace.

team control is loose terminology for under contract. usually people say 'team control' when a guy is still before their first free agency period (so up til last year of arbitration).

Tulo has a big contract, you're giving up a prospect for a rental.... that's going for it.

I was more referring to the rest of the roster. Price won't re-sign, and will go FA and get paiiiid. I read somewhere that the entire Jay's front office has contracts up this season, so it's win or gone.

You get 2 outs in the top of the 9th (while up 2 runs) from your closer, followed by a 44 minute rain delay (really, they couldn't pitch to one more batter), followed by the manager sending that closer back out to the mound to give up single-single-HR and you lose the game.
