Probably a good thing. Not that he had to retire, but that he did, before one of the seizures got the better of him in a very public setting.

The video is pure gold.......

However, I love USC but if I ever became that fanatical about my team I'd be embarrassed. That was pathetic to watch.

We are 3-4 plays away from 6-0 :(

Maybe next year?

We get Tennessee at home in a few weeks

And I care why? You know who I'm a fan of. You haven't beaten us in a looooong time.

How did that work out for you Jason?

ACC officials suspended for 4 games after the Duke / Miami game. Do you think the ACC or NCAA should overturn this Miami victory? Even if you don't look at the block in the back or the player coming onto the field before the TD, there is video evidence that the Miami player was down before he pitched the ball. Should the NCAA or ACC open this Pandora's Box by reversing the outcome? I think so, especially since it was an end of game play.

Are we going to also overturn the calls that went against Miami on the previous possession?

I didn't watch the game so I don't know what you are talking about. All I was saying if at the end of the game where they obviously missed multiple calls they should be able to reverse it. I think it should only be for end of game replays.

The previous possession, Miami had a questionable PI on an INT that woulda ended the game. And Duke scored on a QB sneak on 4th down with :06 left that I'm not sure he got in.

So if we reverse the final play, we need to do the same if the other 2 were deemed bad calls. Or basically, we shouldn't do anything of the sort.

Assume the sneak was reviewed. PI I don't know if you can review.

Pretty bad that they couldn't get that play right even with review.

PI isn't review-able.

Frank Beamer to retire at the end of this season. No surprise. Norm Chow fired at Hawaii, also no surprise. There's going to be a ton of jobs open this year.

I agree with shel on this one.
While it sucks that the officials made bad calls, if you overturn the results, where do you stop?
How do you put a rule in place that says, only game-ending calls can be changed?
What about the play before that or the play before that or the play before that?

At some point, there has to be some finality to it and once the game is over, it is over.
