Today Buffalos regular season ended with disappointing loss. The Buffalos finished 6-6 after falling short to #23 ranked VT 28-25, after a 4th down and 4 yard pass fell to the ground.

It was a very tough and frustrating year stated Coach Gonzales. We fell way short of our goals of winning the conference title. And losing key players left and right didnt help things either.

Buffalo loss started LB Richardson in the 3rd game of the season, starting FB Sizemore in game 4, All American RB Jeffvon Gill against Miami U, and Starter Senior WR Marcus Rivers against Ball St.

There were some high points on the year, When All American Gill went down, Peterson stepped into the starting job and started the last 3 games averaging over 200 yards a game.

Dennison finally had more tds then ints. ALthough Coach Gonzales said he would be hiring a new qb coach to work with Dennison on his horriable decision making.

At 6-6 Buffalo will be eligiable for a bowl and coach Gonzales stated that he is closing the book on this season, and will look at the bowl game as momentuam to start next season. But I m ready to be done of this disappointing season.

Keeping this here for future reference that way I can easily find it. When the end of season 3 comes, we will re-examine everything and determines what's best. Again just want to keep this here that way I don't have to go hunting for everything again

the rules are back on ther bottom of page 1 of this thread.

Basically, as long as you dont get *fired*, u can look for a job.

The "order" for prefered coaches (ie- who gets 1st choice), is determined by the points standings in the "24 hour league standings" thread I made.

Nole4real wrote:***You can "change" schools every 3 seasons only (thats when ea is SUPPOSED to fire you, offer extensions....barring the early extension offers)

***If you change schools, you can NOT go to a school with a record in the previous season of 6-6 or better. (the idea here is realistically u dont go become the head coach of a 10-2 BCS team...usually)

***Selection order will be based on our regular points method..applying the points from that 3 year block.

Quote:
2 points for each win while coaching a non bcs conf team.
3 points for each win while coaching a bcs conf team.
20 points for winning a non bcs conf
40 points for winning a bcs conf
100 points for a NC.

***You wil be fired for a record of less than .400 after your 1st 3 seasons from any non bcs team (and you have to go to a school with a lower star rating than what u started at with the school u were fired from). after the 1st 3 seasons, you must maintain a wining percentage greater than .500

***you will be fired for a record of less than .500 after your 1st 3 seasons with a BCS team, for all subsequent 3 season blocks after, you must maintain a winning percentage of greater than .650 to remain employed.

Keep in mind some of these teams may lose a prestige star due to lackluster seasons.

Looking to get a quick vote of whether or not to allow coaches switching teams to be able to recruit for their new team in the offseason. I'm leaning towards yes

I'll definitely check it out. I'm just worried that maybe only one coach gets an extension or new job offer. Either way, we'll have the info just in case

Oh is that why you all had the point system previously, I thought it was to make moving up and around more realistic.

Because EA will usually allow you to move to big time programs coming off winning seasons, which is unrealistic in some cases, for instance in a offline dynasty I was offered a job at Miami and Texas who had won 10 games the last 2 seasons.
