Speaking of the Heat, I have not been impressed with Josh Richardson

one of 3 players in league avg 10+ points 10+ reb and 4+ assists in Bam

I could keep going but sheesh they are fun.

Still don’t think they win more than 1 series in playoffs but to do this with half of their rotation guys that I would guess the even decent hoops fans have never heard of is crazy
Don’t forget our boy Duncan!!!

Out of Spoelstra, Elisburg, Riley who deserves the most credit?

Couldn't name one guy from the Heat, except the guys you just mentioned. But by tomorrow still wouldn't be able to even mention those same guys

Triple Double in 25:30 of game play. I really need to tune into this kid. Luka might be one of the greatest when it's all said and done from what I keep hearing. I don't think I have watched a game he has played in. Got nna have to change that up

Really an impossible question

Riley I guess cause he’s at the top and he creates the culture of unselfish players who play D.

But andy and scouting have done incredible job finding useful low usage guys who space and play high energy to add value. He also deserves credit for rotating unknown bodies til something sticks rather than what most teams do running out useless retreads who they have to pay vet salaries for replacement level value. This is our version of money ball in my estimation. We’ve done that for years.

And spo structures the rotations to allow for a guy like Nunn to come in and earn to be one of the top usage guys on the team. He’s getting more value out of Meyers Leonard in a month than he’s had in his whole career. Duncan Robinson, Chris Silva types would be on an end of a bench or in D league on 75% of teams simply cause no coach would have balls to give them a shot but Heat culture promotes those guys

The players deserve to enormous amount of credit too... a guy like Nunn stepping in and getting the looks hes getting could create animosity if vets like Dragic aren’t willing to see Spo’s vision of being the high usage 2nd unit player where he can dominate rather than just being another guy as a starter.

I’m more in love with the overall process of what they’ve done and how beautifully orchestrated it all is than what I actually think the team is. They are a nice regular season team but I think when d’s buckle down in playoffs the offense will look take a step back and Jimmy will be forced to do too much

Ps Jimmy has been very good by all accounts as a teammate and on court ... he’s played as a creator much more than a high usage ball stopper

From what I gather, Jimmy just wants guys to play hard and for the team. He wasn't getting that in Minnesota. This roster seems to fit his attitude well. The question will come if/when they hit a bit of a skid.

Had no intentions to watch much of the Heat coming into the year, but I've certainly added them to the viewing list at this point.

As for Luka... I don't wear NBA jerseys, but if I did, his would be it. Might have to add a Mavs hoodie to the collection. Luka + KP could be fun for a long time, just as Dirk was.

I can poke holes in this all day long. Although I do agree with the centers.

But how in the hell is Wade on there and no Reggie Miller? How is Curry above Oscar, or even on there as a top 5 all time

1. You think Reggie Miller was better Tha than Wade? Surely, I'm misunderstanding you. Wade is top 3,Miller doesn't sniff top 5, not at all.

Also, if Chris Paul ain't in your top 4 ish PGs, you're doing it wrong. :)

Maybe it's my homerism fan of Reggie. Loved the competitiveness of him.

As far as PG's go. I don't see how anyone could have a different top 4 than those guys. I guess I show my age when I hang onto the past game.

Top 3s are reasonable... some of those 4s and 5s really show bias to the last 20yrs. 1 of Elgin Baylor or Jerry West isn't on that list?

Or Pistol Pete

I will say with a top 5 starting lineup is include Rodman for his ability to grab boards and play defense. You would need someone to be unselfish and not care about scoring at all. Too coach, Ruley?

Luka the God!!!

As the sample size grows, it's getting interesting to rank him with the best players in the league. He's on the very, very short list right now.

Still can't believe a couple of teams passed on him and another essentially traded him.
