The Pels led the NBA last season in games lost due to injury.
The Pels had the 3rd most games lost due to injury 2 seasons ago.
The Pels led the league in games lost due to injury 3 seasons ago.
Pels are 2nd this season in games missed due to injury.
It's early yet this season, but that's 2nd/1st/1st/3rd/1st in the last 5 seasons.

Zion will not be back in the 8 week timeframe originally given, and there is no updated timetable for his return.

Some doctor out there should offer their services

Nah, not really on the doctor. It's on the team for putting the 6-8 week timeline out there, probably just to hold fan interest over.
He's started on court activities, but the Pels set some baseline strength and conditioning metrics for Zion before the season started, and they said he won't return until he can hit those metrics. So essentially, the knee can be healed but he won't be allowed to play his way back into game shape, if you will. He'll need to do that before returning, which is why I don't think you can blame doctors but the team for putting a timeline out there they knew would not likely be hit.

Knicks fire Fizdale, because their issue is the coach and definitely not the GM who put together that roster.
