its entertainment...I understand why they care, but then again I don't.
all that said, lying about it and throwing an average joe under the bus, not cool

It's easy to be an indignant, high and mighty guy when you get away w it on a technicality. To then turn around and issue a "I'm sorry for anybody I might have let down" mea culpa....just a dbag move. He should've gotten more than 65 games for that.

I don't recall, what did he say about the dude? While he got off on a technicality no doubt, the dude collecting samples still screwed up.
Also, I'm still not sure how he even got 65 games considering they collectively bargained for this and set rules in place, so I don't even know what's going on with that.

I think MLB is offering deals to the players since they dont have actual proof you failed, just that you are documented to have taken it?

I guess I"m just confused as to how the deal Braun got was a deal for more games than he would have gotten for a first offense. THat seems odd to me.

probably wording in the rules. Technically he didnt get caught taking the drug (failed test) thus getting a 50/100, but was caught in the act of something illegal to the sport and they can suspend him for however long they want? conduct detrimental to the game? iunno. fuck Ryan Braun hes a bitch anyways

According to CBS Evening News, New York Yankees third-baseman Alex Rodriguez could be dealt a lifetime ban for using performance-enhancing drugs.

That's huge if it's true. If he is allowed into the HOF, whether its first ballot or much later then they need to allow Pete Rose in.

ARod has 0% chance of getting into the HOF imo.

That was one of the worst injuries I've ever seen. I wanted to cry and vomit at the same time.
I just hope Hudson's career isn't over. If he tore his Achilles....that's a very difficult injury to come back from, tearing it in your pitching side foot.

Definitely not good, brutal.
But on the worst injury ever scale, it doesn't come close to some of the stuff we've seen imo.

The Louisville bball injury in the tourney this year was worse looking

C, put that in a spoiler plz.
They're saying fractured ankle. How his Achilles isn't torn, I dunno. The way he impacted his leg and to see his foot twist multiple directions...

The kids on the field just standing there motionless while he rounds the bases each time is just hilarious.
Just last night Xander turned around and walked right into his changing station, and it knocked him back a couple of steps. He immediately turned around the other way and walked right into the dresser. This was after falling on the steps at the water park and getting a nice little scrape on his nose and upper lip earlier in the day. I get the feeling he won't be hitting 5 HRs on 5 straight pitches any time soon.
