Almost two years later and my tire marks are still there on Exit one. I tore the fuck out of that place once I got gas.

Surf Dogs Hang 10 this week taking 2 of 3 from both Detroit and South Park. Looks like a wipeout for the Dogs next week with games vs Omaha and LOL Cats.

I lose 3 of 4 to Shelton, really!!! I really need my hitters to start to warm up. I'm in the top 3 in all pitching categories except K's (6th) but the Beef are in the bottom 3rd of all hitting categories except walks, K's and SB's.

My setup guy (Pierce, go figure) is getting more save chances than my closer. In one game, they brought the closer in the 8th and the setup in the 9th
Bats drop 4 of 6, falling to .500 on the year. Murphy continues to bleed homers, but Torres is pitching very well, as is Saito in what is a contract year for him. He's second in ERA and in BABIP, so hopefully he continues to get lucky.
Ruiz' average falls even further, down under .150 now. He's not striking out (only 2 in 61 at-bats) so I figure at some point, the balls he is putting into play have to start finding gaps and avoiding gloves. Kelly continues to hit well, over .330 with 9 stolen bases through 18 games.
Henley comes off the DL in 2 weeks and Kendall in 3; we need them back both for their defense (my starting middle infield) and for their offense (Henley gets on base a lot, and Kendall hits for power and has tons of speed).
Big series coming up this week, as the Bats take on 10-9 division leaders Seattle, followed by 12-7 Pittsburgh.

14-5... not bad
Vasquez is batting .407 .. good to see he still has it.
p.s - what an ugly draft pool.

I had been monitoring the pool, that's one of the reasons I wasn't that upset about losing my 1st pick for picking up Barron. Next year's at first glance doesn't look great either. But 2026....it looks loaded. Like 2019 loaded.

i prefer these kinda drafts. I'm tired of every team having a slew of 70 rated players (i know this isn't really the case anymore) especially when they say 50 rated is a average MLB player. At quick glance we got 25 players 50+ pot so everyone can get 1 player who can make their squad, some better than others then that's fine.

Also, interesting note. Chicago's Ray Green hit three home runs vs Albany on Opening Day. He is the only player to hit three homers on Opening Day in history.

De-immersed for the season already. Second year in a row I lose a player picked in the 1st round of the previous year's draft, called up to start and star as a 'rookie', gone with a season ending injury in April.
Fan-fucking-tastic.

12-7, with a 5-2 sim. Also #5 in the power rankings and number 1 overall pick. Things are looking good this week for the Falcons.

Probably just internal regret over calling his new team the Cows.
