She had the same amount of money when she made her statement that she did when she was leaving that restaurant.

Also, that's quite the boss move. Dude's a national shame right now, biggest story going in the American news cycle, 2 days later, still going to a nice restaurant in LA. He does what he wants!!!
She was only getting a portion of the money when they were married and that is why she was suing this chick because she was messing with her cash.

I am sure he offered to up the ante and give her even more or even a huge lump sum if she played it right. No way she would change her tune like that out of the kindness of her heart. Unless she also realized he was going to lose millions in endorsements and the sale of the team so that made her change the tune even more.

Either way, it comes down to the $$$$$$$$$$$$.
Not according to Dave.

It'll never happen, but Larry Bird should be the one being fired for this debacle(assuming the lose this series) , if anyone.
Because?
It's his players.

All I'm hearing is all of the issues that popped up once Evan Turner came to the Pacers. It wasn't Vogel who brought him in, that's Larry Bird's decision.

Fire both or none, my only point is, situations like this with team turmoil always get pinned on the coach and not the GM who should be responsible for the team he put together.

I hear what you are saying but Bird couldnt have known the mess that Turner would bring in bringing him to the team.

I think he could have alleviated it instantly and cut him or something like that which he didnt but he couldnt have foreseen what was coming.

My main point is all you're hearing is Vogel is coaching for his job and will likely be fired if they lose, but you know Bird won't. That is my issue. Like I said, fire both or neither, but Vogel getting all the blame for the dysfunctional team BIrd put together is silly.

Yea, I agree with you that the coach has nothing to do with this as he is playing the hand dealt to him.

basically 1 move (turner/granger) took them from finals contender to whatever they are now?

these guys seemed to want a lot of 'respect' before actually doing anything.

Again, my point is it shouldn't be solely on Vogel to change the guys who Bird gives him. Bird should share the responsibility.

AJ's favorite Bomani had an epic rant yesterday on Lebby's radio show, he was spot on. Here's an article he wrote in 2006 pointing out Sterling's racist ways and how the media didn't seem to care about it.

That's ok, he still has probably the best take of all the media guys on this situation.

If you or AJ read it, you'd probably agree with that, even if you don't like him.

And I don't like him either. I tolerated him at first, but I was never a fan, but nowadays i don't like him.
