#16 Bowling Green hosted rival Kent State in the Battle for the Anniversary Award. With this being just the 2nd of 3 home games for the Falcons, it was a huge day for recruiting visits.
Bowling Green's defense dealt out its second consecutive shutout while stealing away 5 interceptions as the Falcons demolished the Golden Flashes 42-0 in front of 18 visiting recruits. Hopefully the performance was impressive enough to get some signatures of commitment.
The Falcons hit the road again next week to face a 3-5 Pitt team as they look to continue their winnings ways.

Playing with a Chip on their Shoulder..
With 6 recruits visiting this week, The Bulls hammered Miami Ohio 63-13.
The 2 headed Monster duo led the way with 533 rushing yards and all 9 Tds.
The Defense was no push over either causing 4 turnovers, 2 fumbles and 2 interceptions, also adding 3 sacks.
Jeffvon Gills ,who rushed for 246 yards and 5 touchdowns; setting a new team record for most career rushing yards, stated " We re the best team in the MAC period, we were robbed 2 weeks ago by the refs."
Johnthen Peterson, who leads the nation in rushing with 1339 yards just 6 more the Gill, and a ncaa leading 19 tds tied with Gill, stated. " I know the press says we have the benefit of playing in the MAC, but we can only play the teams that are placed in front of us. No matter what the press says no matter how much they downplay what we are doing here in Buffalo, we are a force to reckon with."
Coach G stated, "This whole team is playing with a chip on their shoulder, they are rallying together and playing hard, it doesnt take a lot to motivate this guys anymore, the have some much internal motivation. They come out each and everyday practicing hard, and giving it their all. And on Saturday they are ready to play. I really proud of these kids.. We might be young.. but they play with a lot of heart and pride.. And when you can get a bunch of kids with heart, your gonna get good results. And I m looking forward to the remainder of the year and the years to come."

Minn 24
Wisc 21...........
Wisky is an A- team, they are good too....cant believe there 4-4. Anyhow, Minnesota jumps out to a 24-7 first half lead as our safety picked a pass and took it 80yds to paydirt to put us up 24-7 at the half. In the 2nd half, i come out try to switch it up pass on first down......pick. Wisky put up 14 straight points. Able to get a hold late, then ran the clock out........Great game.....trying to stay ranked!

HUUUGGEE week in the dynasty...here's the rundown
- #4 Penn State travels to #1 Michigan State for the national game of the week. This game will be for much more than the Land-Grant trophy, it could be for the Big 10 and the national title
- Not to be outdone, #2 Virginia Tech travels to Berkeley to face a hungry Cal team looking to to climb the BCS rankings. With a win they could factor into the national title game
- In our dynasty it is surely rivalry worthy when Notre Dame and Navy play. This year the #18 Golden Irish look to spoil the #7 Midshipmen's BCS dreams
- Looking for respect, #8 Bowling Green is cruising along in the MAC. They face lowly Toledo as they prepare for the upcoming MAC Championship game
- Speaking of MAC teams, Buffalo is quietly making a nice run. They will need serious help getting into the championship game, but double digit wins are nothing to be ashamed of
- I feel like I write this every season: 'Jake has his team fighting for a bowl berth'

. Capable of massive upsets over ranked opponents, Syracuse needs to focus on beating the teams they match up well with. Up first is conference foe Louisville
- Minnesota gets a week off to lick their wounds after Iowa stymies the Golden Gopher rushing attack. Hawkeyes 27 - 16 Gophers
