Just saw this too, he was just up here in Washington watching a Louisville commit from Cashmere. Unreal

Everything is all over the place.

Also seeing reporters confirm daughters were not on board.

Reports that all NBA games today are canceled but also reports that they will go on.

Will just have to wait for it all to play out.

Wow! I had my opinions on it but this is not the time. This actually saddens me. Way too fucking young to die

Raptors let the shot clock run out on their first possession, Spurs did the same.

24 seconds to honor #24...

Teams are starting to retire the 24 already.

Mavs look to be first.

not a Lakers fan ever, but as a player, he was a stone cold killer on the court. sad day in sports, but as a parent, this is where it really hit home.

as my kids are 23 and 18, i tell people with young kids, enjoy every moment and second with your kids. they grow like weeds, and before you know it, they are grown up.

RIP MAMBA

I was sitting here watching coverage and it really hit me in the feels. I was never a Laker fan or a Kobe fane, actually disliked both. But him passing really got me thinking of how fragile life is. I've been around death over-seas and it was just "another day" and we had to drive on. This one really makes me think about life and our kids. This one hurts more than any other celebrity death for some reason
