MSU's miraculous run ends vs Big 10 foe Penn State.

Penn States RB ran 22 times for 128 yards 2 TDs and 12 BTK. We just couldnt get him to the ground when it counted. As a result Penn State was 5-7 on 3rd downs and 3-3 in the redzone.

The loss will surely drop MSU from the BCS championship game and gives Cal hopes to sneak in. MSU has one final game remaining vs Texas Tech, but the season seems all but gone after this game.

It was a nice run while it lasted.

Damn it was a nice run but some of these CPU teams are just so stacked as a lot of them had true FR that were already in the 80s when we started and are now 90+s. As crappy as it is losing 1 game and knowing we might miss out of the big game festivities I gotta admit this has been one of the most fun seasons. With Rice it was just getting too easy but the combination of going for an all out pass offense and just stiffer competition made for a lot of close fought games. I can't say enough about how much you guys seem to be digging this dynasty/your teams/recruiting/etc.

i agree. right now it stings.... however it has been one of the more fun seasons so far. I'm curious to see how this team plays with my new recruits and with Baker gone since he is a senior.

I tell you, I love this dynasty.. ANd love my team and the kids I have recruited. I remember at the beginning of the season I said I didnt have the talent on offense to match my defense. But man was I wrong, my O line is just plan stacked and all but 2 return and the guys taking their place are not bad either. I have 2 running backs over 1600 hundred yards and one is a junior and I have a redshirt back waiting to take the limelight of Peterson. Then on D man I love them.. They allow me to do so much. Not to mention that next Season I get the LB transfer from Michigan who is an 86 overall with 87 speed, to take the place of one my seniors. The rest of the defense is sophmores this year. I feel this team could compete with any their that good.. I hate that it took me till after the pitt game to find the right offense for my team.
And man I just wish the computer recognized how good this team is..

Well.....for some reason they got the ball back...1st and 10

They throw an incomplete pass...BALL GAME...I never got my possession...

i recall that happening to me with SMU after there was a holding penalty on the 2 point conversion. i declined it becasue the pas was incomplete y hte other team and i expected to get the ball back and they ended up with first and 10 from the 20.

HUUUGGEE week in the dynasty...here's the rundown

- #4 Penn State travels to #1 Michigan State for the national game of the week. This game will be for much more than the Land-Grant trophy, it could be for the Big 10 and the national title
- Not to be outdone, #2 Virginia Tech travels to Berkeley to face a hungry Cal team looking to to climb the BCS rankings. With a win they could factor into the national title game
- In our dynasty it is surely rivalry worthy when Notre Dame and Navy play. This year the #18 Golden Irish look to spoil the #7 Midshipmen's BCS dreams
- Looking for respect, #8 Bowling Green is cruising along in the MAC. They face lowly Toledo as they prepare for the upcoming MAC Championship game
- Speaking of MAC teams, Buffalo is quietly making a nice run. They will need serious help getting into the championship game, but double digit wins are nothing to be ashamed of
- I feel like I write this every season: 'Jake has his team fighting for a bowl berth' . Capable of massive upsets over ranked opponents, Syracuse needs to focus on beating the teams they match up well with. Up first is conference foe Louisville
- Minnesota gets a week off to lick their wounds after Iowa stymies the Golden Gopher rushing attack. Hawkeyes 27 - 16 Gophers

Cal #2 vs Stanford
Alabama #3 waiting for SEC Champ game
MSU at #4 ....there is no shot of the BCS Tittle game.

Edwin Baker was a beast today with his best game of the season. 22 carries for 259 yards 4 TDs, 8 catches 139 2 TDs. He will be missed next season since he is a Senior.

they just leaped #5 12-0 Bowling Green and #4 11-1 Michigan State. USC @ 10-2 is the new #4 thus pushing BG and MSU one spot.

+ edwin Baker drops from #2 Heisman Contender to #5 even after a monster game vs Tech. I guess 6 Tds and over 450 total yards is doodoo.
