If it is a league-wide complaint then shouldn't we explore making the quarter a minute longer?

aren't we at the max already?

it literally takes me 10 seconds to pick a play, get to the line and snap the ball

i definitely run the most plays every season which is why i also give up the most points, have the most rushing attempts, etc etc

if i just stopped doing that i'd probably win more then i lose cause my team blows and shortening the game is probably the 'smarter' play but call me crazy, i actually like PLAYING the game and dont give a shit that i throw 5 picks a game

I am also a quick snapper, I run the ball 90% of the time and finished in the bottom 20 in time of possession.

we play similar. i averaged almost 30 points a game last year with less than 10 minutes TOP.....i also gave up over 30 a game.....

fun that way to me.

I am a quick play picker and I get to the line, do my thing and snap.

There is nothing that annoys me more in a game is when people run the playclock under 10 or even lower than that on EVERY offensive play.

So freakin annoying.

The last I had checked on LD last season, I was 2nd to last in the NDL in time of possession, and that includes running the clock in the 4th quarter of big leads I had in 11 of my 12 games.

I can't stand to play guys that run to clock under :10 every snap. It gets soooooooo boring.

I'm fairly certain I'm at worst, top 3 or 5 in calling my plays quickest.

I'm gonna pass any way, so right as my guy gets tackled, I just kinda randomly pick a pass play in my head that I want to run, so I know i can go right to it on the playcall screen.

Yeah all this about getting your blocking right, changing routes, etc...... BULLSHIT. If you have to do that every play your a tool box in my opinion. Fucking get up to the line call one audibles or switch a run and hike the ball. My god. You basically just said I have to do all of this to win. If Hoos can beat me beating his dick against the controller you can too.

I have to read the defense and adjust blocking schemes, bring over blockers, etc when I come to the line. The defense, considering they know whats coming, could perhaps stop me...that would put an end to the whining.

Actually its not all that big a deal to me...if it was I wouldnt have agreed to play you again. I was just giving you hell after your first trash talking post. We talked after our game last season and you know my stance. You play how you want, Ill play my game and we will see how it goes. Im just hoping to get the ball more than once per quarter this time

LoL, add me to that hurry up offense list. I know my next play as soon as I'm tackled. If it wasn't for the fact that I switched to some flexbone plays last season, I would have had some ridiculous amounts of plays. Sometimes I even have to watch myself, because I still have the old habit of hurrying to the line EVERY play, doing my hot routes while running up and then calling hike right away. If you can play a DL, you could time my snap every time. I'm pathetic like that.

Same with me. I pretty much know if Im going to run or pass right after Im tackled by what down and distance. Then after Ive picked and Im walking to the line I am looking at the defense and deciding if I wanna hot route someone or not or if I wanna motion someone (which I rarely do anymore). I still cant break the habit of holding the X button to hurry my guys to the line every play.

I take forever to snap the ball and I am in no way trying to stall. Maybe - and I am not saying ANYTHING - I have absolutely zero "money plays." I also use multiple playbooks based on my opponent and I actually choose my play based on what my plan is. Once again, I am really not saying anything about how anyone else plays, but I know that, since I am not inherently very good at NCAA, I have to do everything I can.

Put your opponents to sleep, not a bad strategy.

i have the most vanilla offense

1st down - run
if 5+ 2nd down - run
if <5 2nd down - pass
3rd down (short) - run
3rd down (long) - pass

1st down pass incomplete
2nd down - run

also, every drive i throw deep. so that usually kills one play for me. i cant pass short, well i can but i hate it.

It may have been 75-68 in our Cup game if we had done that

...but i will say i hate when ppl take forever to pick plays

Wow, and to think this is one thing I got docked for on coach's reports. I thought maybe I should slow down my play selection just to make it look like i'm struggling to find what I am going to run.

You got docked points for picking plays too FAST?? WTF

I woulda been booted from the league a long time ago if we were docking for that.

I will have to look at my stats, but I believe I got called for seven delay of game penalties last season.
