They are a christian organization and all are closed on Sundays. They also promote their owner- operators from within. My bud from highschool worked there since he was 16 and now owns one.

There are two Chic-Fil-A's here. There's one in the mall and an independent one right in front of where I work. It's a good place to eat and I like that they are nice, but they say some stuff you won't get anywhere else.. almost "creepy nice".
After placing your' order... "Thank you very much, we'll be happy to serve you at the window.. please drive around".
The Spicy Chicken Sammich is baddddd ass.

They added cameras at the drive thrus here. You can see them as you order and they can see you. Makes it obvious to the customer that they're "happy to serve you" I guess. Makes me feel weird when I take a minute deciding if I want spicy or nuggets. They just stare at you like they're thinkin "hurry up bitch!"

No, just a lot of them feel the need to force their religion on people instead of letting them decide for themselves.

And me this evening
Best part about the place--there's like 20 cars in the drive-thru when I get there; but when I get to the window, from pull up to pull away took less than 20 seconds--hand card, get drink; swipe card, hand food and card.
Gotta love fast service, and the order's always right (unlike McDonalds)

I really do hope you guys are joking, they chose to be closed on Sundays because they believe ensuring that there employees have that day off as a show of respect to God. I have never personally been employed by them, but I know many who have and still are to this day who tell me it is still a company that values there employees more than every last little thing to improve the bottom line. Sounds like people who have there heads and hearts in the right place to me, plus the chicken is pretty darn good.

I wasn't talking about Chick-fil-a in particular. If any owners of a business want to be closed on Sunday or any other day, that is their business. By all accounts Chick-fil-a is a great company to work for. I was talking more about the ridiculous laws that are/were in place that force businesses to be closed or prohibit the sale of alcohol on Sunday. Many have been repealed, but many are still on the books, some are just not enforced anymore. There is no good reason for business of any kind to be prohibited on Sunday.

Once upon a time it did make sense, people on there way to and from church did not want to deal with drunks. Granted this not a real concern today, but yes there was a good reason for these laws at one time. I would have no issue personally with them being repealed, heaven knows I would love to be able to pick up some beer on Sunday once in while here in Georgia.
