that is the first time that i have seen a ref signal short by a few feet over his head, that is the touchdown symbol, you show distance to go in front of your chest, not over your head

in one of the replays, the guy showed the "short by this much" sign over his head, and the entire stadium cheers thinking he means touchdown, then as he walks away he gets a really confused face and halfway realized what just happened, and then starts shaking his head.

This has to be the oddest first half I have ever seen in a football game.

Mark Tyler gets 7 yards a touch yet doesn't get every carry and Matt Barkley is playing his ass off right now. Looking forward to more of Freshman Robert Woods on offense this season.

Our secondary suffers from diaper rash and we are starting one soph and two Frosh and a Senior. We are making this QB look like Masoli out there. Anyhow I figure USC to fix this thing in the locker room and still cover the 20 points.

Oh and the penalty shit I thought would go away when PC left but we are still undisciplined out there........prob something about our D-Lineman not taking their shirts of BFiVL? :D

Kiffin wouldnt last a week in the NDL  He has kicked the PAT once since I started watching, and the Hawaii person in the stands gave a sarcastic "did they just kick it for an extra point instead of go for 2" look

Defense plays like that again gonna be a long season.

Glad Lane and Paola are calling plays together, I thought Bates was as Vanilla as they came.....we mixed it up well last night.

I think Monte will work the D out, at least I am optimistic he will.

No its called Firkin and Kegler.

Im not sure if its a chain but its a huge place by the UCF area that is always packed and a cool hang out joint.

Something like Lucky Strike though and there is a place in downtown Boston thats kind of like it I remember going to with a club, bar, and bowling alley.

Wow, 12 guys out against LSU for UNC!
Line moved to LSU -5, has it gone to 7 or 8 yet?

Maybe this type of incident will bring in Trendon's "if a star player is out, bet that team" trend...
Twelve players from North Carolina won’t play in the 18th-ranked Tar Heels’ opener against No. 21 LSU in Atlanta on Saturday amid an ongoing NCAA investigation.

The school said Friday that six players—defensive ends Robert Quinn and Michael McAdoo, cornerbacks Kendric Burney and Charles Brown, receiver Greg Little and suspended defensive tackle Marvin Austin—were declared ineligible for the opener for “violating school and/or NCAA rules.”

Another six players—tailbacks Shaun Draughn and Ryan Houston; safeties Brian Gupton, Da’Norris Searcy and Jonathan Smith; and defensive end Linwan Euwell—are being held out of the game during the ongoing investigation.

The school said three more players are still in jeopardy of missing the game, though the school is working with the NCAA to determine their status.
