Kind of like the same thing in MMA, have you ever seen somebody take a big shot and try to visually show the opponent that it didn't hurt? You know damn well the more they try and play it off the more it actually hurt them.

I've just never liked it when competitors joke around and are too loose before a big season or career defining moment. Its my belief that they are masking their fear. Of course there are always exceptions, take Usain Bolt for example, he is like that cuz he KNOWS he is the best.
