Re: TYLER BASS 4 HEISMAN!!!
I see no problem with throwing all game. If I was down 28 with 2 minutes left though and the guy was chucking it 30 yards downfield it may get a little ridiculous. It's not too hard to run 5 or 6 draws or something a game just to mix it up a little.
And as far as the PA. I ONLY run them to try and take advantage of a user controlled player. I think its 100% okay if someone is crashing all game with a safety to stop the run to throw it over the top on them.

As someone mentioned in one of the old NCAA09 or NCAA10 threads, hot route the RB to block or to any route and it will take away the PA part, and you get all those routes that you want.trendon wrote: And, speaking of PA, who do I email at EA for a request? My request is to have NO plays PA by default but you hit a button to trigger it. All of the really awesome pass patterns are in PA and I don't feel like getting sacked 10 times a game.

But does the defense still react as if it was a PA?
This sounds great, but I'm not sure if it would work in practice. Maybe someone has tried it out, I don't know.

I don't think the defense goes for it, but they might. I think I tried to run it once and was for a gain of about 5
Re: TYLER BASS 4 HEISMAN!!!
HOLY SHIT!
I am throwing for 500 yards a game now!
Holmey, I wish for you to get a great blowjob in the near future. From a girl this time.

yeah, that would put it in glitch territory if they still bite, that said i haven't seen any non-users in the secondary bite on a PA in the game yet.shel311 wrote:NCSUholmey wrote:As someone mentioned in one of the old NCAA09 or NCAA10 threads, hot route the RB to block or to any route and it will take away the PA part, and you get all those routes that you want.trendon wrote: And, speaking of PA, who do I email at EA for a request? No they don't. They react as if it were any other passing play.shel311 wrote:

I wouldn't cancel the play-action and call passes! People will complain for sure! Trust me!

Re: TYLER BASS 4 HEISMAN!!!
this. you can hot route them to block or to run a pass. i'd lab certain ones first because on some pa plays, you can't get out of it. last year's version, i ran the same playbook and knew which ones weren't going to change.OracleHCR wrote:No they don't. Re: TYLER BASS 4 HEISMAN!!!
I think most of the shotgun versions will hot route out, but the ones under center I am not sure of.
Re: TYLER BASS 4 HEISMAN!!!
it varied. if i remember, it was the ones that had the auto-motion that were locked due to the motion. the rest seemed fine.NCSUholmey wrote:I think most of the shotgun versions will hot route out, but the ones under center I am not sure of.

Re: TYLER BASS 4 HEISMAN!!!
i definitely get dinged regularly for not passing much, but i'd pass 0 times a game if i could actually be successful without it.
I think it's bs to ding people for using their starting RB all game. It's annoying to go through packages and worse to the flow of a game to pause and substitute, so if that really gets your panties in a bunch then i feel bad for you
...from my experience it's hard to hot route RBs on a lot of PA plays

Re: TYLER BASS 4 HEISMAN!!!
What a dick thing to say. If you dont wanna do a straight sub then go to "spell back" in the formation you are running in. Takes all of 2 seconds to do. So you are saying you dont see a problem with me with Bama up 31-0 on Army and still pounding the ball with Ingram? Played a game tonight and sat Ingram at halftime. I mean hell, I could stat whore and win some awards but why the hell would I want to disrespect someone when I am already up by a large margin. I understand if you are up 10, maybe even 14 with time left, but if you are up big and the oppt hasnt done shit all game on offense then yank the guy or take the hit on Crs.VeniVediV1ci wrote:i definitely get dinged regularly for not passing much, but i'd pass 0 times a game if i could actually be successful without it.

Re: TYLER BASS 4 HEISMAN!!!
I never got any complaints about running Thomas in a game. Anyone that played me knows I needed him all 4 quarters to win a game.
The complaints I got about running, some were laughable and some I can agree with. I think that goes with anyones opinion about gameplay.

Tyler Bass for Heisman!!!!!
Re: TYLER BASS 4 HEISMAN!!!
start button, strategy, depth chart, switch rbs, o, o, o.... that has to be no more than 45 secondsVeniVediV1ci wrote:i definitely get dinged regularly for not passing much, but i'd pass 0 times a game if i could actually be successful without it.

Re: TYLER BASS 4 HEISMAN!!!
It can even be more simple then that. Just do a formation sub in a couple diff't formations with a lot of running plays and give it to your backup. if your up big and running it up the gut, your opponent won't care if your picking the same few hb dives.cdub21 wrote:start button, strategy, depth chart, switch rbs, o, o, o.... that has to be no more than 45 secondsVeniVediV1ci wrote:i definitely get dinged regularly for not passing much, but i'd pass 0 times a game if i could actually be successful without it.
