I don't know about me hitching to a traditional power since I started pulling for FSU in '78. Hell, I even took some classes at UF and wore my Florida State stuff every damn class.

I'm sorry but I must reject your fictional account of your past.

Of course. But you have to since it diminishes your self worth of rooting for such a shitty team all this time.

Im a die hard Lions fan, And also a Spartan, not a bandwagon fan here. I just hated the people in mighigan growing up was that they liked Michigan for football and MSU for basketball

Ricco attended Western Connecticut University. He is a poser.

Let the record show that simply saying "we" doesn't equate to acting like you're a part of the team.

great freaking company
all the food stuff aside, the way they run the company is brilliant
very little overhead, they only put what you ask on the food so not as much waste, limited menu, high prices, creative names (jr burger or whatever is just a plain burger and a plain burger is realy a double so you always basically order the more expensive one), small spaces usually..
the place is a fuckin home run all around
honest to god had my boy look into this about 3 years ago when there wasnt one in gainesville
i may have even posted about it
we got lazy and never followed up
one opened up there and they had stories on the news for days about it because parking was constantly overflowing to neighboring businesses
makes me
almost happy to hear they are hard to get anyway

Is Michigan State considered a traditional power? Not trying to argue, Im just curious about the national perception. Obviously more-so this year than any, but I remember growing up through the John L Smith/Bobby Williams era

Ah, nice try. I don't really like being in the ACC because I see the ACC in real life all the time. I enjoy going to other conferences and schools that I don't see in real life as much. Probably half my time in the NDL has been with teams out west.

On the national stage, I think Mich State is overshadowed by Michigan.

Living in Oklahoma I would have never been able to be a professional sports fan until 3 years ago, with that logic. You gravitate toward who is good, unis you like, fav Player etc when you're young.
Dallas cowboys - Troy aikman (from my family's home) + 3 super bowls in 90s
Boston celtics - for some reason even as an ou fan I was a huge Paul pierce fan, I'm a thunder fan pretty much equally now. Proably will convert completely when p^2 retires. I always found basketball much easier to be a fan of players than any other pro sport. Hence my team choice taking much longer
San Francisco giants via Pittsburg pirates - Barry bonds > all

This is by far one of the worse teams to be a sports fan of, the Pirates havent won since i was in high school in the early 90's. The management of the team was challenged by Mario a while back but even that hasnt helped. Year in and Year out they trade all there talent away. I would love to just see a .500 team and competeing for a wild card into July would be nice.
