Stanford?
if my kid can go to Stanford, he goes to Stanford. Unless its Duke, there is nowhere else i'd want my kid going to play ball and get a free ride. And since i hate Duke my kid wouldn't be going there.

i watched the video of your son, he's nice. didn't really get to see much of his shot but he's got great court vision and seems to understand angles really well.

He actually shoots it pretty well. There are more shots on the summer league videos. He's moving to point guard for his new HS. His main job will be to feed the 6'10 center then the 6'7 SG, then he'll look to score. It's a transition for him, but the coach is really good. They run the dribble drive like Kentucky runs.

from the little i saw of him, i think running the point is absolutely the right call. he's a distrubitor from those video's and has great vision.

We are in Miami all of the time. We are finished with AAU till next summer though. His coach is trying to get him on Team Breakdown, which is based out of Miami for next season. He will be playing in the Battle of the Rankings in early October in Miami. His HS team is playing in a tournament over there in Nov, I think. I'll give you a heads up when we head over there.

He's going to Mariner. I think so too. He has good size at 6'4 to see over the smaller guards. He's been more of a scorer, but this season he'll be a distributor. They have a good chance to make it to Lakeland this year, especially with the new alignment. They'll have to beat Dillard though, but they did beat them this summer at FGCU team camp. It was a pretty good game.

He worked out with Dupay over the summer at a camp. Dupay was helping the team out. He's a motivational speaker and give clinics and camps. Hes actually pretty cool. He's suppose to work out with him again in a few weeks.

Damn, I watched one of those videos of Lytezout's boy.
It was a 3 minute video, and virtually every single highlight was of him making a pass. That's awesome stuff.
The next Magic Johnson on our hands.

I think that's the one from 7th grade yboa nationals. The other others he scores a little more, but he does like to get team involved.
