They gave me my same plan previously too with a free game rental and unlimited in store exchanges. $11 bucks. I'll miss streaming docs but I'll live.

I was wondering how a radio station would know what 23 million customers where doing with their netflix accounts.DRiccio21 wrote:this isn't accurate... not even close.plasma1896 wrote:41% of theusers are cancelling i heard on radio, and the stock jumps $9. im part of the 41% as of sept 1st. fuck them and their 2 price increases in the last year

There are about 3 within 5 miles where I live which works for the in store exchanges and they have so many more new movies than Netflix.brwnbear wrote:I thought blockbuster closed all their stores when they went bankrupt? Im impressed Trendon.trendon wrote:This has been a great sociological experiment.
Raise fees 60%, lose 4% of customers; looks like the market will bear a higher price! You know who they learned this from? Big Oil who watched all of you limp-dicked pussies stomp your feet at the office water cooler about the price of oil ... and then went right about buying more at your normal pace.
As for blame, every person I have encountered in the past 72 hours who uses Netflix are really goddamned stupid. This isn't NetFlix fault. What they have for stream - which is satisfactory for, basically, nobody as they all bitch about the selection - cost them nine figures in content license costs as determined by the TV and movie distribution companies. That cost is about to go up tenfold. When your costs go up 10x, your fees have to go up. Need to assign blame? Blame movie rights holders. Pissing on Netflix itself is monumental idiocy.
Try telling that to your wife or girlfriend, you pussies. You won't.
"Yes, honey. Netflix ... bad!"
not at all, you made good points.trendon wrote:Forgive my angry tone; I have just heard so much derp about this on the last 48 hours.

in all my life you are easily the most complex person i've ever trying to psycho analyze. i live off reading people but there is a disconnect that i just can't grasp with you.
wow i have a blockbuster about 200 yards from my condo... 19 bucks for 3 at a time movies and games? and i can bring them back into the store?dakshdar wrote: They're cancelling when the price goes up, I think. I won't bother getting my own subscription as I've got 40 something HD movie channels through FiOS and still have the Blockbuster plan with the 3 at-a-time movies/games, free in-store exchages (unlimited), and two free game/movie coupons per month (for $19 still). And there is still a Blockbuster about 5 miles from my house that doesn't appear to be going anywhere (always pretty busy).
200 yards from your condo, but thats like a mile when you factor in vertical transport... will you really use it?DRiccio21 wrote:wow i have a blockbuster about 200 yards from my condo... 19 bucks for 3 at a time movies and games? and i can bring them back into the store?dakshdar wrote: They're cancelling when the price goes up, I think. That's more part and parcel than you would believe. But, first, let me just say that I am not pretending to be all Robin Hood-like. I just don't feel the pressing need to NOT take this glorious opportunity to acquire music and movies in a easier and cheaper manor with a next-to-nil chance of getting caught. I am moral ... to an extent.brwnbear wrote:I am just puzzled that the only post that seems to understand the changes at netflix comes from a guy who admitingly uses pirated music and movies.
