They sure didnt mind "user catching" my 3 interceptions though.

I think "any" catch made against me is cheap.

The only time I see the rocket catch is against the CPU on deep passes. I swear to God the computer can only trigger that animation.

When you lob, just to lob. When you lob in favor of offenive minded strategy, then user catch it, that I don't care for. But, whatevas block makes a good point, play a lobby game just to see how good we really have it here.

In all seriousness, I don't think lobs are too bad this year in the league. They are overly effective against the CPU in dynasty mode though. I have noticed that against user controlled players, I HAVE to lob it and lead on the deep balls, because it seems very easy to user pick a normal deep ball. And if your stimpin, it doesn't matter where I throw it beyond 20yds, you're just going to pick it anyway. Yes, I'm still having flashbacks of that end zone pick.

Lobs are very effective in this years game.. At least they are against me as my cbs and safeties are dumbfounded by any ball lobbed, as they just stand there in awe and watch the wr catch the ball and start to run away.

I'm not counting nothing yet. I could just as easily go 0-2 here. VVV and Texas is waiting to ruin my season. And Steve ALWAYS plays me tough. If I remember right, he took me out last season, so I'm looking for redemption!

It is the catch as much as it is the lob itself. A good user db will knock it down 80% of the time. Rocket catching/jet packing is in the game this year though. Thankfully I've only seen it once and I'm 99% certain it was accidental and the guy didn't even realize he did it, or knows what it is.

well, even though shel took what i said out of context, my issue wasnt with lobs and the original discussion wasnt about lobs. hence, i said when people lob and break off the intended route and user catch

this is when people have an issue with user catches

1 was played in about 4 pieces LOL

But the rest were fine. The problem really is new, since i got the slim about 10 days ago.
