If people are going to abuse it, they should lose it.. Also don't forget guys, we do have a tournament every season giving everyone a fair chance, so do we really need to even talk about have a 4 team playoff/plus 1 or anything like that?

Re: Final BCS Standings....
That stuff happens. I was at the station Monday night. I wanted to vote after all the Champ stuff was done. So between runs, I tried to write down everything. And finally at midnight I was able to put everything in. Nice to see the debates with the teams and what not.
Just rememeber everyone gets to vote how they want. Look at Boise's real life coach, he said he voted infavor of his team. Shit Happens. People will vote how they want too. Thats what makes this league great we all have an opinion at the end of the day right, wrong or indifferent.
I'm confident that most everyone voted as truthful as they could when they voted.
Good Luck to everyone who made a bowl game. Some great matchups.
Remember you have a coaching report for your bowl game also.

Re: Final BCS Standings....
My votes might be all over the place. I tried base it off of the overall record, conf record, if you won your conf, sos. Where I had problems is that it was hard when I was voting to compare how I had voted previous weeks. So if I had someone at say 5 one week and the next dropped them to like 20, even if they won their game, I apologize for that.
Is there anyway for the next season to implement the ability to have our previous votes on the same form where we do the weekly voting?

Kidding. Because of my new work scheduled I ended up playing a lot of games late. I knew I'd be left off a lot of polls and dropped down in a bunch because even though I beat Neb, Wisky, and Michigan, those games were all late, and I hadn't been ranked, so I was at the bottom of the aid. No big deal at all, I had a BCS bid locked anyway

Re: Final BCS Standings....
No need to apologize to me. I'm pretty sure I didn't vote for UK all season as I never felt they were deserving.6ftdeep wrote:Yea some of the voting is a little off , but really i m just posting to say sorry Sammy / Kentucky I lost your team in the shuffle and forgot to rank you.fsupenguin wrote:True. I know for myself, the hardest thing was trying to figure where Ohio State fit in. Add in the non-AQ teams and I probably erased and switched a handful of times.

Please stop saying you "arent complaining" or 'arent calling anyone out" because that's precisely what you're doing.jsence2 wrote:UclaMac wrote: So what someone got screwed out of a bowl or a spot. I"m not sure how Doc could've made his schedule any tougher
Again, wasn't calling anybody out, was simply making observations about how.....interesting, diverse, etc the voting was. Stop taking everything so seriously man!![]()
How are them Bruins doing?
Guys who do shit like this lose tiebreakers when i vote.
what i mean is if you and someone else are close, i'll vote for them
ps~ i didnt have a great season in terms of participation and game completion so i chose not to vote. didnt think it would be fair. However, my thoughts stand.

Re: Final BCS Standings....
I voted based off the voting aid and then didn't include people who haven't included me in the past. That and it appears I somehow missed Miami and that's what happens. Not everyone spends an hour plus on this.
Like I said in another thread, this woulda been Jsense several seasons ago but this is the first time he's tasted success in the league.

Re: Final BCS Standings....
I didnt vote because I honestly had no clue who was even in the running for the championship or well versed on how the conference champions played out.
Hell, I didnt even know Nole was making a title run possibly.
If I voted it would have been purely on records and not digging deeper into SOS and other factors so I didnt vote as I didnt think it would be fair to all involved in such a tough vote for a title.

Re: Final BCS Standings....
jsence, I apologize to you, I forgot your team in my top 25!
Like some of you stated, I had an excel spreadsheet going, putting in teams records, looking at your conference games, looking at your SOS...
It happens. Somehow you got left off my list.
I have complained in the past about the way people have voted, but like someone stated in this thread, we should be happy people did vote.
I could say, 81 people voted! or that Only 81 people voted!
Either way, thank you to those that did make the effort.
I could criticize others opinion, but does it do any good? No, it is THEIR opinion. They are allowed to have THEIR opinion.
I could say that for everyone that voted Missouri in the top 3, you are CRAZY!
Tons of people put them 1, 2 or 3. I chose not to based on his schedule. And Crowes knows how I feel, I have told him in a different thread how I feel and he and I are cool.
My opinion is that he beat 3 teams that were worth a darn this season and those 3, in MY opinion, were no where near as good as the teams that someone like Pitt has beaten.
Hell, I didn't even have Missouri in my top 10!
But again, this is all MY opinion....which I am entitled to.
The point I am trying to make is that we can all find something to complain about.
As someone stated, remember, you are in control of your own destiny. If you feel you were slighted in some way, schedule tougher teams next season, win more games next season...etc.
In the end, remember, this is just a video game. Life will go on!

I'm putting the Niddler/Jeffmo conspiracy theory to rest. Based solely on the tone of posts and the repeated use of terms such as "darn" or "gosh darned", it is now obvious that Niddler and Buckeye, "two" Ohio residents and Buckeye fans, are one in the same. Time to run some IP address checks.The_Niddler wrote:jsence, I apologize to you, I forgot your team in my top 25!
