STATISTICS FOR COACHES REPORTS:
95.2 Mean aka League Average
98.2 Median aka the League Midpoint (score 60 out of 119)
100 Top 10 Percentile
100 Top 20 Percentile
100 Top 30 Percentile
99.4 Top 40 Percentile
80.0 Would be an average of all 4's
93.6 Bottom 20 Percentile

So what exactly is in the top 10, 20, 30 percentile? I've never paid attention to it before but has it always said anything over 100 is in top 30%?

If you got a 100, you were in the top 30% of the league. It probably wasn't like that when the coach reports first started so the Top 20 percentile line probably read something like 98.7%

Agreed. I got 1.5 bad comments and the person was 100% accurate. I did precisely what he said. Last season (or the one before), I swear the coach fucked up and gave me the wrong report because I did not do what he said. Thanks heavens for eliminating best/worst reports!

They dont eliminate those anymore

I think this is 3 or 4 straight 100 coach reports. No big deal :P

From January 2006, Season 5 points email, the spread looked like this:

Mean aka League Average
87.65 Median aka the League Midpoint (score 60 out of 119)
96.44 Top 10 Percentile
94.5 Top 20 Percentile
92 Top 30 Percentile
90.67 Top 40 Percentile
80.0 Would be an average of all 4's
77.71 Bottom 20 Percentile

Before Season 5, you were only provided with the top and bottom 25 percentile information and the league average (and I belive Season 4 was the first season we got emails as I can't find one before that, and yes, I have all the emails from Season 4 to now still)

Either the league is way better now, or we're way more lenient with coaches reports.

lol, fuck you

i was before we made the points link (my idea btw), i had to grab the data from 3 different sources, put it together then send 120 individual emails. (thats after doing the polls, bcs, and re-formatting the manual coaches reports pull in a spreadsgeet). i basically had to take a day off of work once per season to get it done...... thanks for appreciating all the work :(

also you're lumping aj in with me. he was the originator of the short turnaround time

I ll pat all the prior Commishes on the back, I had no idea what doing points was all about. Kudo's to Nole, Aj and Mike. (And a double pat on the back for those commishes that had to send out the emails).

That fucking blows. I always make sure in the previous polls that it has taken. I have routinely done polls twice most weeks and as many times as 4 times all while using the drop down menu.

I got my first 100 on CR. I guess keeping Denard in the pocket so often was greatly appreciated.

Pretty close. I am a little worried about next year. Win goal will probably be 3... :(
