it's space wise and she is already 32. We definitely can only have 1 kid in this house.

I'm so ready to move but can't sell this house for shit. We are looking into renting it out though but so much going on.

Yea, our houses are probably roughly the same size, mine prolly slightly bigger with one extra bedroom, and I feel cramped with 2 little ones, much less 2 ten year olds or whatever lol.

My LSU room barely even got the paint dry.

Me and the wife said 2 for sure and maybe on a 3rd. But lets be honest, Im not getting any younger. We are vacationing in Novemember and the wife doesnt want to be pregnant during the vacation so we will wait until after to start trying again. Which basically puts me at 36. At this rate I ll never get down to the NDL:F retirement bar.

As for the daycare thing, the hospital has been great for the most part. My schedule is set, 24/48. Pretty much any day Im not at work my wife works and vice versa. The only thing that sucks is the wife works 2nd shift, and we never have a day off together (unless I'm on a vacation week or have a holiday at work). But its saved us alot of money not having to deal with daycares. I have zero input to add to the daycare convo, I'm happy we are able to work our schedules to where we dont have to go.

Same here. I get home from work, and my wife goes to work for 3 or 4 hours 3 days a week. She also works on the weekends, so a day off together is pretty rare, which is rough since it puts both of us taking care of 2 youngsters by ourselves probably 2/3 of the time.

But all in all, it works, I know some folks are single parents so I really can't complain.

Not in your guys situations but marriage wise, how does it work never seeing each other or at least each other together with the kids?

Sounds like it totally sucks not being able to spend weekends together with the little one and do actual things as a family but you guys have it down to a science. I know Shel does for sure and 2 of them at that!

Sucks but not much else you can do. That's why last Sunday sucked, our first entire day off together, woulda spent the day at the parks, accompanied by you and your wife and sorta kid LOL. And of course it's the one day of the quarter where it's 45 degrees out at noon so we had to bail on Disney.

But we basically have 2 weekdays and then the 2 weekends where we have the entire evening together so we pretty much always do something or go somewhere with them on those days.

The wife had a not so great experience the one and only time we allowed my Mom to come over and help, so I'm just hoping when they're about 1, we can give it another try.

Aj is right, you need to find a reliable baby sitter.

We would be happy to help to get some training but Josh is actually closer I think so ask him.

Yea, I think he is closer, or close.

If my wife won't allow family to babysit, she certainly won't allow other folks.

I'm just happy I finally got the kids out of the bedroom and into their own room. And all that took was getting ADT with some special add-on I had to pay for for the window in their room LOL.

Why won't she let family babysit?

She's a woman? LOL

Well, when I say family, the only family I have here that could babysit is my Mom, and we had my Mom over once and the wife didn't like it at all, it didn't go well.

Yeah it does suck sometimes. You pretty much do everything as a family before 3pm (in my case).
