Re: Get Your New Ballparks for 2017!
Some notes on the changes
Denver: More of a hitter's park.
Hartford: Now more of a pitcher's park, especially for RH batters.
Miami: Nearly the same; slightly more of a hitter's park
Sheltown: Less friendly to hitters by a fair margin.
SoCal*: Load up on LH batters when playing in Los Angeles
Philadelphia: Went from a bandbox to a cavern.
Sioux City: Almost identical to NY. Big gaps & ball stays in yard ... a lot.
Toronto: Nearly the same; slightly more of a pitcher's park.
Washington: Dramatic change to a pitcher's park.
* Formerly Atlanta of the USBL

Dude wins a championship and becomes Steinbrenner.
How much does it take to move fences?

Re: Get Your New Ballparks for 2017!
all im saying is guys could easily change their fences to suit the team they have, which isnt all that fair. A guy "messes up" his draft annually and doesnt get any good pitching shouldnt be allowed to push the fences back without a cost.
Im saying in the future

Re: Get Your New Ballparks for 2017!
I understand what you are saying but it happens every single year in the MLB....I think?
Adding more seats I think is more cash then modifying your fences.
Teams adjust their stadiums to accommodate how the park plays.

Took the mets 5ish years to adjust citi field and took the Tigers several years as well
Im just saying there should be a cost

Re: Get Your New Ballparks for 2017!
I said I agree with charging but not a large cost.
Also what year are we in? We haven't made ballpark adjustments like this since we started, no?
So it would be on par with the MLB and reality.
