Wait, so you think by simply doing well on a coaching report guarantees that youll be in the league? I could be wrong, but that sounds crazy. I wont speak for anyone running the show here, but why would they not be able to cut loose anyone they thought was being a detriment to the league? Im not talking about you in particular, but to be extreme, if someone was going out of their way to sabotage the league, you think theyd be straight so long as theyre scoring well on reports?! Is this a rule I havent seen?

I feel like this has been done before. Done to someone who was so pissed when jeffmo left that he didn't take over the ndl and he became board poison. Hmmmmmmmmmmm
I want to hear the name and how he is "out of the league"

well, VVV, lets here it

No. Who I am talking about left on his own then wants back in after he realizes we are the best around. Vvv attitude towards the league is very similar to this guys.

i know jmo left the season i came back for one of the games seasons 10-12 but i cant remember anyone that really badly wanted to take his place. I guess by then I was way out of the loop though. Regardless of that having been away for a long time and now being back with a mindset not so focused on winning games I think people like VVV really need to appreciate what has grown here. This isnt just a league and it's not just a place to play cheeseless games of NCAA. It's a community gathered around a common interest. It's a privelege to be here not a right for anyone. Regardless of how long you've been here or whether you were here from day one or not. I appreciate the opportunity to be back after being gone so long.

Hit the nail on the head Matt. It's not just about 2 seasons of a video game. It's a shame some don't realize that. He never ceases to amaze me.

Wes realized the delay bump blitz no longer worked...thus he left.

In all seriousness though I'm not sure exactly why he left. He's on the PS3 all the damn time and even still plays NCAA. Nole was even the best man at his wedding.

It was right after his wedding that he left wasn't it?

I'm still friends with him on FB and I sent him a message a week or so ago but never got a response. I always liked wes I just couldn't think of anyone else that wanted to run NDL at that time. I mean aside from you and nole who ended up running it. I was way too flaky around that time period to even consider wanting that kind of responsibility. nole was really in wes' wedding?

I want to say that I'm shocked and I cant believe what I just read....but that would be a lie. Sense of entitlement and delusions of grandeur sound about right.

Btw, I'm pretty sure those same rules state that special exceptions can be made through an appeals process to keep board privileges. But of course that part was left out.

Maybe we can charge them a 10% admin fee for board privileges, maybe then he'd be happy. Just a thought?

I was being extreme, but I'm not doing anything to harm the league instead I'm trying to keep everyone on an equal level as we all were when Jeff left for greener pastures on the campaign trail.

Certainly I respect Nole/Mike/AJ/Matt who have done a great job just to keep us going in Jeff's absence, Holmey deserves a huge mention here too, but I don't think I'm being a detriment to the league pointing out things that exist within this league to entitle a select few over the masses

You were speaking in regards to retiring from the game and staying on the boards, you made specific mention of that.

I do not know the answer to this, but do you know of anyone who quit the league, petitioned to keep board rights, and permission was denied?

honestly, i wasn't saying i knew of anyone who got board rights denied. And what you quoted was referring to conference commish bonuses because I don't mind Corey at all and don't think Mr. Salt Life would do us any harm (though i don't like the precedent set that you can willingly not play the game yet stay active on the boards)

While not every NDLer can get conf. commish bonus points, I am fairly certain that every NDLer CAN get bonus points added to their score, fwiw.
