i think its as obvious that CP3 is the best pg of our generation as it is that Lebron is the best player in the league.

i still might take him if i dont need points. I can see certain lineups where rondo's a better fit

there is never a time that you'd take Rondo over Paul.

you know if Paul wanted to focus on solely being an assists guy and not score he could do the same type of assists numbers that Rondo does and he turns the ball over much less than Rondo. (and he puts up elite level assists anyways on top of shooting around 50% and not turning it over and being an elite defensive pg)

Gotta agree, there is no scenario to ever take Rondo over paul, IMO.

okay and thats why i'm making this my year long crusade. because thats ridiculous, there is nothing logical that would ever lead you to make that decision other than your personal opinion. Paul is lightyears better than him and is just as good if not better at every aspect of the game.

The crusade is very necessary, clearly.

Fwiw, I've been on this crusade forever, but no one ever cares enough like they do with Lebron to fight back, so it's no fun

Rondo is incredibly overrated and not in my top 5 pg's.

I need some clarification.

You agreed that Paul is the best PG of our generation and an all time great.

But you're saying Rondo is, what, very nearly as good as him? I'm trying to understand this. I guess it has to be near Paul level if you're going to consider taking him over Paul in some spots.

I don't get it. Rondo is not close to all time great level like Paul is, he just isn't.

Rondo had one of his worst regular seasons as a pro last year which makes it even more odd. (had a great postseason obviously)
