Roy Williams is the worst. one of the most overrated coaches in the history of any sport.

True... true.
It's true of most coaches in any sport, even more so with Roy. If he doesn't have to best talent he can't win because he can't coach anything but "Get great athletes, run secondary break real fast, get easy buckets."

If you want to see the best offensive player this year set your DVR to ESPN2 on Saturday at 4EST. Doug McDermott is averaging 24 points a game (2nd in Div 1). Should be a decent game too as they are playing on the road against Wichita State (16-2).

So apparently winning at home in the Big Ten is not possible anymore.
In a related story, Illinois gonna Illinois.

UNI's entire gameplan was to stop him the other night (and they are a really good defensive team) but he still went for 30. The scary part is your Jays actually play defense now and Doug does absolutely everything

This might be the night the young'ns finally figured it out. UK rolled on the road tonight, without Cauley-Stein (out after knee surgery) and w Noel sitting half the game w foul trouble. Wiltjer stepped up, was able to play inside rather than just on the wing, and they played with desire and as a team. Didn't let the ice cold start kill them, and didn't let the crowd get to them.
Glad they ended when they did so I got to catch the end of that Butler game, what a finish!

Butler, coming off a huge win over Gonzaga, has a letdown by losing to La Salle.

i rarely follow UM hoops, but Durand Scott was almost a Husky and he was a monster recruit. i checked the boxscore tonight, looked like he went off... but he doesn't even start?
he must be a headcase or something cause he was a can't miss type talent.

He started last year most of the season but he has been inconsistent and this new coach don't play.
Larkin's kid is fun as hell to watch. They are a very fun team to watch and may actually make the dance this year!
